Stepped off the plane to glorious sunshine and a quick transfer to the hotel. My kids were immediately over the moon when they saw the hotel. Greeted by a lovely receptionist who quickly checked us in. Pool is in the middle of the hotel rooms
So your never far away from Anything and means every room has a pool view. The hotel room was basic but it was clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The door handle broke but to be honest my partner can be quite heavy handed- we called reception and within 5 minutes a friendly staff member came and fixed the door- I don’t see how room decor is so important your kids will not notice. There is a kids club free of charge and they had computers crafts films and an outdoor space with a big trampoline-they would also put events on everyday such as a big bouncy castle or one day they rehearsed to be in the nights entertainment which was a Peter Pan show can I just say thankyou to the girls in the kids club as watching my children on the stage was one of the highlights of my holiday. People did reserve sunbeds but it was easy to get one if you were up and about at around 9. Everyone respected other peoples sunbeds and didn’t move belongings towels etc when you weren’t there. The entertainment staff were brilliant and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was basic but it was obviously catering more for children and they did do a new dish on the grill everyday such as steak or pork etc. there was always plenty of choice. I think some
Of the reviews on here are very harsh you can see how much effort goes into running everything and the staff work tirelessly to ensure everyone’s having a good time. The ground were very clean and it had a chill friendly atmosphere. The drinks again were basic but fine they have brand drinks like coco cola sprite etc. Overall we had a brilliant holiday(kids are 5 and 3) we only did 3 nights because of work commitments and we were
So sad to be leaving. Thankyou to all the staff for a wonderful experience we hope to be back soon.

I mean this is is my 3rd time here with my 2 children, my mum and dad. This is our last full day here and we all feel emotional leaving here. I can not have one bad thing to say about pirates village and never have.
1. Rooms - beds are comfy, get cleaned alot, lot of storage for clothes etc, great balcony. (Not fault at all)
2. Food - it might be repetitive but there is food for everyone. (No fault at all)
3. Staff - bar and restaurant - they don't stop working. Their pleasant really nice people (no fault atall)
4. Staff - reception - lifeguards - very helpful, well mannered. (no fault at all)
5. BEV I mean I put her name in bold because she is just the nicest person you could meet. She honestly makes you feel so welcome. (No fault at all)
7. Staff - pirates - the work they put in is amazing. They don't just get the kids involved but also the adults.(no fault at all)
8. Entertainment - things around the pool in the mornings. Night entertainment them guys are amazing. We all love the entertainment (no fault at all)
9. Pool - oh boy it's cold ha I got in one day. Kids were never out of the pool ( no fault at all)
10. Drinks - were not a drinking family so we were happy with the selection that there was. Soft drinks on tap (no fault at all)
11. Around the hotel - supermarket 2 mins walk up the road. Shop across the way sells everything. 5 min walks to bus stops and beach. (No fault at all)
12. Safety - they don't let your kids outside alone. My 2 made friends and they were running off around the pool with them.
These are my honest reviews. My kids are 14 and 11 and still love it here. Will we return, Absoulty without a doubt. We're hoping to come back in October but if not then will be next year. I want to thank pirate village for another amazing stay and another holiday to remember. See you soon guys. Jen, Carol, Mick, Ellie and Joshua.

If you want a honest review then here you go it’s is okay for kids but there are much better hotels for kids entertainment is repetitive pool is okay and a few slides food wise it is ridiculous pretty much same food every two days hardly any options at all the best food it when it’s cooked in front of you on the grill and 1 day it’s lamb then it will be pork then same again same deserts every day and not 4 options of food from the day bar a burger with no cheese on or a hot dog that honestly didn’t even look cooked my band snapped and I had 3 members of staff harassing me and telling me I can’t finish my food until I had a band physically on my wrist when they knew I was at the hotel and been speaking to me here for the last 5 days. The rooms are decent but the bedroom windows have bars on them like you are in a prison and my mums room next door the hair dryer didn’t work she had to come into my room everyday to use it and neither tv worked also we came back after a few drinks ones night and we went in the lift and it broke down and we was stuck for 35 minutes pressing the alarms but there was no response and I had to constantly ring my 16 year old cousin with autism and wake him up to go tell reception and that could of been a child with no phone to contact anyone the only respect full member of staff is the cleaner and a receptionist for the adults you only get a few selections of alcoholic drinks and cocktails come out of a machine and taste like they have been sat there for months and other drinks are like €10 each our water in our room stop working and when we reported it they didn’t belive us until someone else came up and told them I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I couldn’t wait to leave the place

Spent a week here. On arrival only 1 lift working and on leaving still only one loft working, the room had 4 towels and a bath mat after first "clean" we were given 2 towels for 4 of us no mat had to go to receptionto ask for more towels and was told they would remind cleaners there are 4 in the room, bed was made but not changed, room was brushed through and bin emptied. Room was "cleaned" again 2 days later and guess what 4 towels taken but only 2 left back to reception again and was told I could have 2 more as I had asked I said I was told that this wouldn't happen again reception staff didn't care they handed towels over and carried on speaking to what looked like a friend. Kitchen area fridge was wobbly and very basic, no chopping board.
Air conditioning was temperamental had staff come and show us how to use and it blew out hot air whenever it decided to come on which was not ideal.
Shows were good for 5 year old although started later that advertised on the show boards. Kids club was good my 5 year old said he had fun. Drinks were expensive as were icecreams. There is some mini football goals by the pool where kids can play but only with the soft ball from reception but thos rule was only enforced by 1 member of staff and if she wasn't working the bigger kids played with whatever ball they wanted and the smaller kids didn't get a look in, would recommend removing this area as there is a football area in kids club and would mean people walking to the lift wouldn't get hit.

We are just back from a week at the pirate village - family of 5.
The rooms are not clean, and weren’t cleaned the whole time we stayed. We had to take our towels to reception to request clean ones as the cleaners only seemed to make the beds. There was rubbish in the bin when we arrived from the previous people staying in our room, there wasn’t enough dishes or glasses for the 5 of us. We had to request sheets and blankets on 2 occasions due to not being given enough. Bathroom had mould on the walls the towels were stained yellow and bed sheets had holes in them.
The food is ok repetitive and often the same dishes for lunch and dinner but food was cold if you aren’t there for the buffet opening you weren’t getting warm food. All inclusive- was selective and a lot of things had to be paid for - ice cream cocktails popcorn and there was a small snack menu you could choose from but a large menu of snacks available if you were willing to pay.
The pools were fantastic but not clean very gritty at the bottom and the grids round the pool black.
Entertainment was great during the day! Pirate attack and mermaid lessons were amazing. The shows in the evening were absolute nonsense, it was the same show each night but changing the main character focus. My children started to request not staying for the entertainment which is a shame.
Staff were pretty rude, they looked fed up most of the time and if you needed help with anything there was no chance of getting it from a member of staff.
It is a short walk to the beach and there is a few decent restaurants near by if you decide to eat out.
We have previously visited many other all inclusive resorts and this was by far the worst, in service and cleanliness.
