Just returned from a 5-night stay at this fabulous hotel. Fantastic location, amazing service from all the staff. Would recommend upgrading to a pool view room. Beautiful sunrises. Spa facilities also very good. Last but not least - one of the best hotel breakfast buffets (and the ladies each get a flower on Sundays - a nice touch)! Excellent rooftop terrace too.

THE best hotel by far.. Great comfortable room with pool view right across the rooftops. Sunrises were amazing. Buffet breakfasts were delicious varied everyday & on the weekends a pianist plays. Sundays all ladies get a flower. Super clean. Great spa & pool. The roof bar was excellent, food delicious. Excellent room service. The hotel is currently having some new suites added on the roof but there wasn't any noise or disruption during our stay. Excellent value too. We will definitely stay again. Well done Maria Nova 👏🥂🍾😉

Great views over Tavira and the salt flats. Cocktail and drink menu has some nice choices. I recommend the delicious Hugo Spritz. Service was slow but it was off season and very few servers were on duty. This was fine as it allowed us plenty of time to take in the views from three sides of the hotel tower. Women’s bathroom sink area also has wonderful views. On the day of our visit the west glass elevator was out of service so we missed the view on the way up because we had to take the interior elevator. Beautiful sunset viewing experience.

Front desk is fantastic. They manage concierge services and can help with travel arrangements and bookings.
Breakfast is more than adequate. Definitely covers the costs of 2 meals or more per day!
The pool is not heated, so enter at your own risk. The spa includes a "Turkish bath," which is a serpentine coed hot tub; temperature is warm. There's a sauna, also not past warm. The steam room is more what we expected from a sauna. Gym has some good machines. It's adequate but easily crowded.
The restaurant, rooftop bar, Nomad, is also adequate. Highly recommend going elsewhere. If your mobility is limited or you're tired, then you are stuck as there's not a lot in the area. Two other restaurants nearby close at 8 pm.
Nomad has tapas or full dinner. Tapas for 2 is tough because you will spend €26 for both meat and cheese with no olives or veg. It would be more appealing if they could offer more variety.
Dinner is overpriced for the quality, unfortunately not surprisingly. Service was good at the beginning but then quickly deteriorated. Seriously consider going out for food!!!

Didn't receive welcome drink, charged for evening meal on arrival though we confirmed booking was half board. Paid for drinks in cash on an occasion, bar man rushed off his feet said we had not handed him any cash.... completely mind boggling.
Lastly, we're unable to offer complimentary room for few hours to accommodate late departure....this while hotel nowhere near full capacity.
I will not be coming here again.
