From start, 4/21/24, to finish, 4/26/24 my family and I enjoyed our stay at Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana.
The resort is very clean from the beach, public bathrooms, landscaping, pools etc…The staff are always doing something.
Our room was spacious, 1403, on the family side. Decently clean & housekeeping comes daily.
Location is about 25 mins to airport.
Food in all the restaurants were consistently good, nothing amazing. The waitresses work hard. Shout out to Francesca and Alfredo for their attentiveness at the beach restaurant ;-)
The beach & pool areas had plenty of lounge chairs and palm tree tent coverings which was cool. Bars everywhere
Kids pool area was nice. I would recommend this resort.

It was fabulous!!! Lovely grounds and a beautiful beach and a fabulous pool and all the staff was so amazing and nice and caring!! So highly recommend! The Entertainment team (especially Antonio) was so nice and put on amazing events (proud kayak race champion right here)! Perfect for families and tons of things to do all around the resort.

Gorgeous resort! We will definitely be coming back, everything was 5 stars +. The entertainment by the pool was great and the staff everywhere was awesome. Very personable and fun, their energy made made a day at the pool so much better! Shout out to Junior and the entertainment crew for an awesome stay.

Gorgeous place! Room could have been cleaned more thoroughly upon arrival but daily cleaning was great. The French restaurant was absolutely delicious but overall the food was mediocre. I do not go to the Caribbean for food though. I go for the beauty, water and pool. All of which were incredible. Spa services were absolutely incredible! The entertainment staff were great and overall we had a great time!

Unfortunately, this was a miss for Majestic. We choose this location for our 25th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, we were escorted to the Club Area. After sitting for a while and watching staff members deal with other customers, I asked a staff member if we were supposed to be doing something, and they said that they would be with us. After watching three other groups check-in and leave, I asked the same answer again. After 45 minutes, a supervisor showed up and said that the room we had reserved was not available and that we only had two choices of rooms. She then offered a voucher and made us sign and walked away, never explaining how the voucher worked. We were finally escorted to our room, which we then made it to the beach. Walking up to the beach bar, I was told it closed at 5:30; it was 5:34. We then headed to the pool bar for a drink and were told it closed at 6. It was 6:10. We then went back to the room to clean up and go eat. Arriving back at the room, the AC was so cold and the touch screen was not working. After calling the front desk and waiting for over an hour, with no response, we walked over to the Club area and let a staff member know. She said she had the request but did not have enough information so nothing was done. After telling me that she spoke to me before and I passed her off to my wife, which we had never seen this person before in our lives, she dismissed us and said her would let "him" know. After dinner, we returned to find that nothing was done and went to the lobby bar because the room was freezing. Upon returning again, nothing was done, and we had to sleep with the door open to try and warm up the room. The next morning, we had an excursion and went we returned, we had been moved to the room that we paid for. In speaking with a staff member, they told us that a wedding party decided to stay an extra night and that was why we were bumped to a different room. Walking around the resort, we noticed that rooms where people were celebrating special occasions had banners and balloons on the doors. What was on ours.... nothing!!!! The reviews of this resort were good and that is why we decided to try it out. The fact that no staff member would talk with us when we checked in and that other staff members dismissed us like our concerns were not their problem is of great concern with the total amount that we spent on this trip.
