What can I say, this place is lovely.
We came for a week and have thoroughly enjoy it. The food is typical all inclusive (I have been to over 30 all inclusive) drinks available all the time and quick service.
Rooms are massive, living area and then massive bedroom, great patio area to sit out. We have found NO cock roaches in our room. A couple outside at the crazy golf where they would normally live.
Honestly this hotel/appartments is lovely, cheap get away.
Another bonus, they do not let people reserve sunbeds, you can go down at leisure and get one. If people chose to reserve, there towels will be put aside.
Great hotel, great food, great drinks, great price.

Relaxed atmosphere. Spacious rooms; quite basic, but perfectly comfortable and clean. Kettle and mini fridge. Lounge area with TV & kitchenette separate from bedroom.
Beds quite comfortable & bedding fresh and clean. Bedsheets seemed good quality, and felt nice against the skin.
Food was slightly better quality than many hotels of a similar standard. Dessert options could be improved, but there was often plenty of delicious watermelon, among other fruits, which was a nice enough way to finish a meal.
With half board and a hire car, this hotel was a great option.
What made it such a truly relaxing place though, was the staff. Dining room staff were always lovely, and early morning cleaning staff would smile and greet you if you should walk past them. We didn’t encounter a single member of staff who was anything other than friendly and pleasant. The great staff here made a nice short break even more enjoyable.

Rooms are being advertised as the newly refurbished section of the hotel. But when we arrived we got given the rooms that are dated, broken, dark and not how the photos show. The food was always luke warm never hot and fresh but plenty of variety to eat. However the staff are so friendly, helpful with any request and location is perfect close walk to the beach, shops and restraunts. Just be careful with the rooms being advertised as the new ones

Great hotel, very welcoming, warm friendly atmosphere. Ramon on desk when we arrived couldn't be more helpful. Food was of a good standard, plenty of choice , always a chicken, pork or fish dish to choose from . Pool bar was brilliant served very quickly , minimal queues. Rooms were clean and well presented, only one small issue is I'd say they need a little upgrade, especially windows and the entrance doors, Small issue which is nothing to take away from a great break at SMY Tahona... Will definitely be returning as soon as we can . All staff were very pleasant and professional for that alone it deserves a 4 star rating

Just back from my 3rd trip in a year. Since my first visit Christmas/New Year 2022 you can see the upgrades that have been made noting this hotel is open 12 months a year
Best way to sum up the Tahoma is that it is a 3 star hotel that punches well above its weight.
The fact that the core of the staff are the same from my first visit speaks volumes to the management and environment of the venue
Yes there are currently roadworks outside the hotel which is beyond the hotels control. Indeed there are unfinished roadworks in the resort from last May when I spent 21 days there. Upgrades have to be done at some time
Rooms are being refurbished to a schedule and the site is incredibly clean with rooms being serviced every day
It is so good I am going back next Tuesday.
I find the facilities, staff and venue fantastic and the food is good value for money
Cant wait till next week
