Firstly do not book city view rooms as it is facing the strip which is loud from 9-4 everyday. Rooms are clean but basic English TV channels which was a bonus. Large pools, crazy golf, rooms are dated. Breakfast was repetitive but selective.
Would recommend if on a budget.
If you lose your key card it is €5 Euro replacement. Please bring your own pool towels or buy one at the local supermarket as the hotel charges €25 for a towel.

We were really put off by all the negative reviews but upon arrival we were quite surprised how it was actually decent. The staff were polite and helpful, the pool side was nice and the breakfast was pleasant too. Bear in mind it is right next to the strip so if you get a room facing the strip it will be noisy! Luckily we had a room facing the pool so it wasn't noisy. It was a decent hotel to stay at if you're looking to go out on the strip and party!

The room where we're at is on the street side of which facing 'The Strip' where the noise is unbearable as it starts from 7 PM till 6 AM (all the clubs, pubs, bars have a competition of who can have the loudest music) and the clientele are singing, shouting etc the whole night. Our room doesn't have a noise buffer, the door to the balcony have faulty lock (we're on the first floor), reported to reception and told someone will come fix it, they never did. The cleaners are quite god though as the room's very clean. Our room tv is an old early 2000's version of Grundig of which you cannot connect to your mobile to access Netflix or apple TV (no USB connection, just an old scart version), no kettle for a hot drink if you want one considering there's nowhere to buy hot drink within the hotel premises after meal times. The room looks very 'scruffy' as paint's peeling, ceiling plank's need fixing, sockets nowhere near the bed or bedside table when you want to charge your electronics, unless if you're willing not to have a light in the room and unplug the bedside lamp to use for charging. The bed... wow, the bed... you can feel the bed spring when you lie on it or hear it twanging when you sat on it ... the bed cover's too rough and a flat sheet under that's too thin for blanket use at night. When you get out of our room, there's a leakage on the hallway where the cleaners just put a folded towel to soaked up the water (I guess... quite dangerous for those who comes back drunk later on as floors very uneven and slippery). The pool, it needs a bit of scrubbing as you can see the 'brown bits' on the side (hubby calls it grease line) and the loungers? Well, I wouldn't recommend using it if you've got back problem, bony back as it's way, way past it's best.
We requested to be moved to the other side of the hotel to hopefully have a reduce noise and we were informed that we have to pay extra €25/night. When we booked the hotel we were not informed of the room's location or given choices (first time to go to Albufeira). The only positive experience we have with this hotel is the decent breakfast (choices of continental breakfast, fruits, bacon, sausage, orange juice, coffees and tea), cleaners doing their job well.

The hotel is really well located if you like to party, it is near bars and clubs and 10min walk to the beach. Unfortunately, the receptionists were rude and not friendly. In my room, I only had light from the bathroom and there was only two out of 4 plugs that were working. Anyway, the breakfast and the swimming pool were the only things positive I could say about this hotel.

AVOID AVOID AVOID !
We extended our holiday by x2 days and needed somewhere to stay so we decided to book this hotel as it was cheap - Huge mistake.
Firstly, hotel staff are extremely rude. Condescending upon arrival and are only short of rolling their eyes at you for any questions asked.
Secondly, it is disgustingly dirty. Our room was filthy, toilet completely stained, walls black with dirt, air conditioning broken. While eating breakfast on our first morning, we watched maintenance clean the area surrounding the pool, and he just watered all the debris and dirt off into the pool? Safe to say we did not go near the pool following this.
Thirdly, the rules for this hotel are bizarre. You’re not allowed to bring any food or drink up to your hotel room - Have not heard of this in any hotel in Albuferia or anywhere else for that matter. There is also no place to store your luggage on checkout, bags were left under the main staircase out in the open where anyone could walk in and take them.
Lastly, Location is great for hen party’s or stags as it is directly on the strip (pictured). You will not get a good nights sleep in this hotel if that is what you are looking for. Lots to do around the hotel though so hence my location rating.
Only positive is that breakfast is included in your stay. It was OK but that’s about it!
If you’re looking for a cheap holiday and don’t plan on being in your room for the majority of the time, then maybe you can turn a blind eye to the above. But overall, the reviews don’t lie and this hotel is AWFUL. Look elsewhere
