A very pleasant facility! Somewhat worn here and there and might need an update! But regardless, it feels very comfortable and you enjoy yourself! It is fresh and clean everywhere!
The apartments are cleaned 5 times a week. 5 stars for service & the cleaning staff! Overall the staff is super nice!
Comfortable beds and nice bedding! Small kitchenette with a small fridge with freezer compartment. We had a room facing the pool area, so very quiet and peaceful in the evenings and nights!
The breakfast is fresh and contains everything you can think of for breakfast at a basic level!
The pool area is large and stress-free! Plenty of space and sunbeds are available all day! There are no towels here and reserving sunbeds at 06.00, kudos to the hotel management for this!
The facility's location is a walk away from the city centre! Didn't feel bothersome at all, just good for a little walk after the evening's dinners in town!
Good pressure in the shower, but a descaling of the shower nozzles would have been in order! Bottom line, this is a place I could return to, without a doubt!

The hotel is old and needs immediate general renovation. Cracked tiles, falling ceiling tiles, missing tiles at the bottom of the pool, the kitchen cabinets were falling off, it took a lot of strength to open the terrace.
As for cleanliness, I have nothing to complain about, it was very clean. Great mattresses in the beds, I slept very well on them.
When booking this hotel, you must take into account that it is far from the beach and you have to climb long and high stairs. Close to shops, pharmacy etc. A lots of parking spots around the hotel.
There were very noisy parties for 3 nights in a neighboring hotel and it was impossible to sleep even with earplugs.
Due to the price, I can recommend this hotel, but you have to take into account the things I mentioned earlier.

Staff are fantastic whole place kept clean and tidy, cooking facilities in the room leave a little to be desired, would benefit from an oven, luckily it was so hot it was salad every day. Generally just needs a bit of love and care to fix minor faults and tiredness of the property, they do seem to be doing some of this around the pool. On the whole had a great stay and would come again!

This apartment/hotel was booked through Barrhead Travel for 14 nights and a Tui return flight. It cost over £1000, not a piddling amount, for my birthday. The flight was easy going and took just over 3 and a hàlf hours. Kudos to Tui for thàt. Then came the hell that was the transfers from the airport to the North of the Islànd of Tenerife which on a good day can tàke about 40-45 minutes. It took us 2 hours, thànk God for the àir conditioning on the bus. We had stood in a queue for about an hour waiting on a bus turning up! No reps or nothing to organise anything. It was a mess. We were eventually the last people dropped off at our hotel because the driver didn't know where the hotel was. I had to eventually také my phone down to him and show him thé voucher we had for our stay. With that in hand we went into the hotel and went to our room. Well,God almighty,I thought I had just walked into my Mum and Dad's room, only there were two single beds! Apart and separated by a bedside table. All painted white cupboards and pine bed headboards, and the rickètiest couch it has ever been my bad luck to sit on. Terrible. Don't get me wrong the beds were very comfy and the giant pillows were like a big soft marshmallow. The staff in the hotel are brilliant, so helpful and cheerful. They would do anything for you. But seriously, there has got to be better rooms in this place than this one. Just don't get me started on the bath in the bathroom. It has obviously been in place since the place was built and the plughole has been repaired with what looks like plaster of Paris and it's all cracked and broken. The rest of the bathroom is well, it's a sink plonked in a vanity unit and a big standard toilet that has seen better days.
We had a pool view balcony. The pool and surrounding gardens are terrific. Although the gardens are meticulously maintained, the pool and splash pool could do with some help. Broken and missing tiles on the bottom of the splash pool is not a good look.. The mature gardens are gorgeous and I spent my first week trying to find out the names of the trees and shrubs. These also happen to be home to a myriad of birds and other wildlife. All in all it's a 3 star hotel at best a2 and a half star but the staff more than make up for the buildings failings.

Me and my partner spent a lovely week here in early August this year. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a room that overlooked the pool and gardens. Throughout the stay, the staff were wonderful and could not have been more helpful. We love Puerto de la Cruz as we are both very active and I run a fair amount so enjoy the challenge of the hills, but it should br noted that the location of the hotel is not for those who want to get to the beach each day but do not enjoy walking. The hill to the main town is steep. Great hotel.
