My partner and I have just returned from a 5 day stay. The hotel on arriving was very pleasant. The room was large with plenty of storage. We had a room with a side view over the water which was pretty. I have rated service as a 2 star but apologise as this is only aimed towards the bar staff. We could not thank the restaurant more. The restaurant staff were always happy, pleasant and very helpful. The food we could not fault, every day we had different foods to choose from that were very fresh. My disappointment came from the bar. We were all incisive within the hotel. On the second evening I asked for a larger glass which would hold more than two ice cubes for my GnT to be told no. Surprised by the response my partner asked the same question to be told he would accept the glass it was poured in or we would get nothing at all. I asked the hotel manager why this would be an issue. He called the bar manager and was told if you ask for a different glass you must pay for your drink. This is also the rule at the pool bar. If you pay for a beer you get to drink from a large plastic cup, but all inclusive a small one. I could understand if you were over indulging in the all inclusive alcohol but this was not the case. As a guest of the hotel we felt this made no sense and was a very petty rule that encouraged us to socialise out with the hotel. The bar staff were unhelpful and rude, this made us feel like an inconvenience as an all inclusive residents over a paying customer.

Positives Right on the beach and boardwalk. Very friendly helpful staff. Rooms nice enough, but nothing special. Negatives Bit of a throw back to the 1960's, with large canteen style buffet; although a good selection of food.

I want to say, I'm not disappointed but not very much screaming 100%. The rooms and bathroom was clean nothing to special. Had balcony view but not much view to look at. It's a big hotel, not much entertainment at night. And Xmas Dinner was disappointing the turn out was standard. But in all the service was good, everyone worked very hard considering the amount they had to cater for. One thing I will say is the watered down alcohol and drinks was not nice, just because its inclusive doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy a quality of drink or drinks.

Hi just come home from staying in this hotel. I must say it is a very clean an tidy hotel. We paid extra for a sea view room. Ended up over the over flow river. 4th floor on end building. room 427. Room was satisfactory. Hand an shower soap provided. Also had complimentary tooth brush an paste razor comb. Ect. Kettle an cups tea bags ect. Mini fridge. Cleaner came every day. Changed towels an beds every other day. We had breakfast an evening meal.Food was good plenty choice. Fresh things cooked as you wait. Only down side was the food in the selection was always WAS LUKE WARM. So most mornings i had toast hot bacon an egg just cooked. Choice of cold drinks or coffee. But of an evening it was still only Luke warm. if you didnt have alcohol drinks or bottled water. (Which you had to buy) asked for jug of water( which they called tap water) was free. Staff was fine. Hotel in lovely location. Advertised with entertainment but only had a man singing on Fri night an Spanish man an women on sat night.( think that was because it was early in season. ) couldn't fault hotel. An area right on the beach. But not a lot round about in entertainment. 3 places we found you had to pay to get in. ( again think it was early season. Irish bar had entertainment but not every night. The weather wasn't that good. So that also makes a difference. Had a problem with the balcony door not locking. Seen reception an it was sorted when we got back to room. So big 👍 for that. We'll done vik gran.

Nice location and the Hotel was ok , but the Food was Awful!!!! . Went down on the first evening at 6.30 the food was already cold and dry, the bread rolls were solid !! . We ate out that evening. The next morning Breakfast so we thought we would give it a go. Was possibly ok but we gave it a miss. Such a shame

We were super happy as we could have Hazel with us, got a nice enough room downstairs with access to the back and out easy enough, only to do a wee of course. We went exploring some side roads and found some fabulous scenery! Access and parking was quite easy as the hotel is off a roundabout and leaving the outdoor covered parking you're straight into the road, ideal. The hotel has stunning outdoor areas and a gym, we looked in but didn't linger. Ate some bar food and freaked out when were charged 4 euro per bottle of Alhambra..

This hotel is beautiful and it is in an amazing and quiet area. Staff are very friendly especially Jesus at reception. The outdoor pool was closed when we were there which is shame, but overall a very nice experience. Highly recommended.

What a lovely surprise this very special hotel was! Staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere at the hotel with it's policy of inclusion was relaxed and joyous. Thanks for a beautiful experience

Stayed for 5 nights in an ant infested room in the basement that looked nothing like the photos. Dark room that was dated and always had ants crawling around. Unsure if they cleaned the floors as dead ants accumulated throughout the day due to being stepped on. Reception was very slow on check out, waited 10 minutes as receptionist was having a casual chat. Location was good and the main areas were clean and nice. Dinner buffet had limited options and expensive, not worth the price. Server was also slow at clearing tables and didn’t take any finished plates until the customers left. Location of hotel was good, easy bus up and down the mountain with the bus stop a minute walk away.

Place was beautiful, view from the window amazing. TV doesn't work, no cattle for coffee, room have bad smell from toilet or shower.

Fab hotel. However, sound proofing in the room is terrible. Even being quiet, you can hear everything quite clearly from adjacent rooms. TV, conversations, ablutions etc. It's a shame because the hotel itself is excellent. Very friendly staff who speak English very well. (I'm very lucky as my wife speaks fluent Spanish). The food is ok(buffet), better in the bar. Great location, stunning actually. I would still recommend a visit, just be prepared.

Lovely hotel plenty of space and areas to sit and enjoy the views. In some area's we felt could do with a touch of paint and and little tidy up. We were on 6th floor with a decent terrace over looking inside garden area. Bedroom wardrobe door wouldnt close but never bothered us,room could do with little update. Reception staff lovely, friendly helpful. All staff really nice. Well food, we paid for Half board sorry we did now, food cold, not much choice really poor lots of people were talking and saying the same thing,we only ate once at evening, breakfast was a little better,shame really as this lets the hotel down. Poor bar sell food which was better than main restaurant. Overal we had a lovely holiday i did love the hotel even with a few niggles. Would return.

Lovely hotel set in stone which extends 5 levels down. Fantastic view. Close to all amenities in Mijas Buffet style breakfast and dinner. Clean with Mijas only 5mins away, tapas and craft shops, pharmacy and local supermarket. Would recommend

Staff super friendly. Room(23) I was put in must of been in the worst position next to the stairs and bang opposite the gym and spa.so if you want a sleep in you won't get one. Food in the restaurant was top quality and the staff are great . The hotel is tastefully decorated with real charm. But stop outside the hotel and a short walk into mijas. Views from the hotel are fantastic overall a great short break away

Staying on a package with Jet2 who are very slick. Reception staff really helpful. But why am I being charged extra to use the safe?! Never before, and I have stayed in a few hotels. And why extra for a pool towel. Just put the overall price up by 10% and have everything included. Breakfast is pretty good. All the staff are helpful and welcoming. One negative, the pool isn't heated; ice cold! Otherwise a beautiful place which cannot be said for Feniorola which is a godforsaken place. Take heed of some advice. You don't want to go to the town at the bottom of the hill. Best restaurant is Martina. Best walks are up in the hills. Gracias Mijas

Atenção!!! Publicidade e imagens enganosas. Bar e restaurante encerrados, campo de ténis e parque infantil, completamente destruidos, piscinas em funcionamento mas a precisar de manutenção. Edifícios em muito mau estado e sujos. A receção já não funciona há 3 anos, dá ideia que neste momento funciona por gestão dos proprietários e não da forma como é publicado. Não se deixem enganar pelas fotografias.

False ad, the place is very abandoned the games room is under construction the bar restaurant supposedly leaves something to be desired fly stickers hanging on the counters the place is very poorly attended the people are very noisy and disrespectful, to see this place was abandoned 7 years ago so well before the Covid so the excuse of that is worthless fortunately we came by car because there is nothing to do on foot everything is far away ……I will not return to this so-called complex
