In general, the hotel is fine. The service and cleanness in the restaurant was good, the food was delicious. The drawbacks: room cleaning (floor was not cleaned every day), the sound isolation in the room could be better, and there was almost no information for the guests as to where the facilities are (pool, sauna, spa etc.), what time they are open, the wifi password information in the room was not correct.

Just returned home having spent a week in this beautiful hotel. What absolutely wonderful staff. They go way above and beyond to help, such friendly people, nothing was ever too much trouble. One of the waiters on the main buffet restaurant Shaki Ahmed was so helpful, polite and courteous, as were most of the waiting staff and bar people. I also had an amazing back massage from the wonderful Anna in the spa, it was truly amazing. The sunsets are beautiful if you manage to have a beautiful room with a sea view. We will definitely return to this hotel again. Date visited 16/2/24- 23/2/24

The hotel and rooms are nice and clean, however; the food is very hit and miss. Some of the meat has been raw and pastries mouldy, nothing tastes fresh - everybody else in the hotel has been saying the same, some have even had food poisoning. The entertainment is rubbish mainly playing classical music and the singers sound like strangled cats, even elderly customers were moaning they wanted to get up and dance but it isn’t that vibe. Most of the staff are rude and not the service you would expect from a 5* hotel. Usually coming back from all inclusive holiday you put on weight however I’ve lost a load as food is that awful - spent more money eating out. I recommend using the scooters to ride down to the harbour it doesn’t take long and is a straight road along the seafront with nice views. Drinks are good plenty of cocktails to choose from. Our room was on the 1st floor and horrible music is so loud until late at night.

This hotel is a 3 star at most, so paying 5 star prices is a rip off. It may look pretty and fancy in the public areas with a great view, but that's as far as it goes. We paid a lot of money, more than we normally would, because we were invited to a wedding here. We were excited about the prospect of some 5 star luxury but sadly we have stayed at some far nicer 3-4 star hotels in the past and paid a lot less too. The wedding day itself was lovely and the staff were great etc., but so it should be, costing several thousand pounds!! There was no air conditioning and as it was an exceptionally hot April I spent several nights sleeping on the balcony. There was a construction site right outside our balcony, with loud machinery and banging from 7am each morning, no chance of a lay-in here! The water park was closed and 2 of the 3 restaurants were also shut. None of this was made clear on booking and we would have expected a reduction in price for this. There was one bottle of water on arrival in the room and the rest had to be paid for - THIS IS AN ALL INCLUSIVE 5 STAR HOTEL FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! The pool and garden parasols did not stay up and could only be used if you managed to find the young bar lad that carried some special homemade tools for the job - bizarre! The food was strange, and some of the less adventurous in our party did struggle and usually ate the kid's food. But the most ridiculous thing of all was the glass door and window wall in the bathroom. No door lock and the door was just a swinging piece of glass, not sealed round the edges and no window or extractor fan, so you can imagine the smells that wafted into the bedroom area! The window wall can only have been designed by some sort of perv. With the bathroom light on anybody else in the room could see more or less everything, especially when stood in the shower. It's not ideal for all couples and especially not when there may be a brother and sister or father and daughter couple on holiday together. It is just unbelievable really. Our shower leaked from day one as it had no seal, which we reported immediately as we had to mop up a flood with our towels each time, which extended into the hallway. It took 3 complaints before they finally repaired it on our last day! The corridors around the room entrances had filthy dirty carpets, the white wooden chairs in the outdoor evening bar were filthy on the arms and we actually stuck to them when leaning. Just one baby wipe removed a massive amount of grime from one chair arm. One positive note - the staff in general were great, except the reception staff and the restaurant boss who sadly came across as quite a nasty bully to his staff. We were refused a late checkout even though everyone else on our level had theirs agreed. I could go on, it's all petty stuff BUT it should never be happening in a "5 STAR" hotel end of.

The Hotel is a bus ride out of Pathos but buses are frequent.. The staff are well trained and friendly. I never had to ask for a drink or help.The entertainment was good and always something to do. The rooms were well designed, well stocked and clean but needed some minor refurbishment. As a whole the hotel contributed to an excellent holiday. One problem was that the beach was shingle

Lovely hotel with a nice pool area and close to a lovely beach. Room was good clean and comfy beds. Food is what you expect at an all inclusive, quite a good range even for vegetarians but be prepared to be eating a lot of the same stuff. breakfast full english most days with pancakes and cereal, lunch and dinner rices meats potato’s salad fish etc with a soup available every night. Drinks are quite strong but staff are lovely, sometimes a little slow on service at busy times which is to be expected. Quite far from main town paphos but lots of restaurants nearby and a shop, beautiful beach at coral bay and a lovely costal walk to get there. We had a nice stay and were welcomed nicely, would visit again.

hotel is ghetto, went for my 18th and it was rubbish. would only recommend to pentioners as there was no entertainment and the gym looked like a drug den. the food never changes and the room keys stopped working after 2tries, drink selection is poor and wifi doesn't work. staff were more verbally abusive then the armys basic training staff. DONT GO

If you could give zero stars I would because there is no other way to describe this hotel as it should not be open. We booked and paid extra for sea view room, which it did have. However, if you have booked this room be aware that you are not in the hotel but a separate block at the bottom of 2 flights of steep stairs and a very steep hill. The "block" is also left to it's on demise and not cleaned or taken care of. We had to ask everyday for new towels and bedding. Our room was also infested with ants and the reception refused to move us. We were clearly the unfortunate guests and outside our apartment door was the storage area for the bins due to the staff being to lazy to take them away. The mattresses are stained and dirty. The staff are rude and no helpful at all, everything you ask them you get huffed and it's a very big task for them. The food was completely inedible and not catered to everyone, if you have children you will need to go out of the hotel as there are no options. The food was cold no matter what time you went and very repetitive throughout the day. If you sit by the entrance of the evening restaurant or near the food you will experience many guests expressing their disappointments. You will see more people leaving the hotel at 6pm to go out for dinner than in the restaurant. Overall the hotel is a complete scam at a 4 star and I would highly recommend that you consider booking somewhere else because there is not one part of this hotel that was enjoyable.

A little tired, but amazing value for money. Pool is basic, but great. Never had a problem getting a sunbed round the pool. Bar and restaurant staff are super friendly. Next to quite a busy road, but all things considered, really great place.

Read poor reviews but to be honest, overall I'd rate this place, arrived room was over the kitchen, so smelt of chips, advised reception of this and they changed me to a new room the next morning. Pool area nice and clean, bar food good, we stayed B&B and breakfast was nice. Friendly staff and guests a nice two weeks if October Sunshine 🌞

Perfect for me who don’t look for the most expensive and exlusive places. Have been met by very friendly staff who has paid attention to my needs and todo’s. Been very well taken care of. The hotel is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the city center. It is not new and sleek as the far more expensive places along the coastal shore. Paphiessa Hotel is build as a part of the city and not as a satellite far off restaurants and shops and things to see. This is important. When you drive around Cyprus, you will find plenty of resorts in areas that have nothing more to offer and make you dependent on rental cars and buses and taxis. Paphiessa is nicely located for walks in Phafos, and I appreciate that. Parking available for my rental car, a charming shop and rental car service (at least signs) close by. My room was nice. Worn, but has been refurbished as many parts of the hotel and kept nice and clean by friendly staff. I had my own bathtub and aircon. I would surely stay here again.

Building is old and needs renovation. There is a bath in the bathroom but no bath plug, so you don't have the chance to take a bath. Beds are very hard to sleep, broken back for sure. Bed linnen full of stains. The curtains don't cover the whole window so there is a lot of light in the room. Food and drinks are not good. We payed halfpension but only ate once in the hotel. We ate the rest of our holidays in the city. Everything was better then the food in the hotel. We recieved both 2 clean towels at the first day, and needed to use them for our whole holidays (5 days). Didn't got any fresh ones. We didn't pay too much for this hotel but now we know why. Location is ok; 20-25 minutes walking from the sea.

I have had the opportunity to stay in numerous world-class hotels that truly live up to their 5-star rating, recognised globally for their exceptional quality. However, this hotel does not meet the standards of a genuine 5-star establishment. Although the rooms were pleasant, comfortable, and clean, they did not match up to expectations. What truly sets apart a top-tier hotel is its service, and regrettably, this is where this particular hotel fell short. While some members of the staff, particularly the cleaners, were lovely, I found some of the reception staff to be generally lacking in providing the level of service I expected. It was particularly disheartening when my friend and I were met with laughter after inquiring about the location of the nearest bus stop, as if we were somehow inferior for choosing public transportation. Moreover, we received little assistance and were mostly left to figure things out on our own. This was a highly disappointing experience. Overall, while the hotel boasted certain positive aspects such as comfortable rooms, it failed to meet the expected standards of a 5-star resort. The service, especially at the reception, left much to be desired and did not align with the level of quality I have come to expect from a 5 star hotel.

The staff is okay, the Bulgarian and Armenian girl was polite but multiple staff at reception were extremely disrespectful - laughing at our faces when we asked where the bus stop is. Maybe they thought we are millionaires? The hotel doesn’t correspond to 5 star - maximum 4 stars! The sheets, restaurants, room, pool, sun beds and everything were at the level of 4 stars. It’s boring for young people as they play grandma music daytime and nighttime.

I want to split this review in to two, as the second half is much much more positive. The hotel: The pictures are misleading and this is definitely not a five star hotel. One the first night we were really disappointed with the quality of sleep we had with bumpy beds. We also found a shard of glass on the floor and none of the charging points worked nor did the remote control for the TV. General cleanliness was not there either. We explained this to reception and from here on we are so grateful that we were moved to an upgraded room which was much more reflective of the images that you see online and we were lucky enough to have a sea view. This was more the quality we were expecting, although I understand it’s a five star hotel, I know the prices are still very affordable so bearing this in mind you wouldn’t entirely expect five star quality. It is just important to note that there are things such as marks on curtains and just general cleanliness that is not really up to standard of a five star hotel. With all this said, I am very grateful for the cake you had presented in our room for my birthday so thank you for this also, and for for rectifying our experience promptly. Entertainment: The main reason that I want to leave this review is because we went to the bar area on our first night and although the area initially seemed quite disappointing there was an amazing violinist playing called Alex and as the night came to an end we were the last ones there and he was really really kind and asked if we had any requests which he played specifically for us. His talent is incredible as he managed to play songs that he had never played before, any request we had he could do and his talent was truly mesmerising. I mentioned that I sing, and he was kind enough to bring me up to sing with him. His talent and joy really made my experience. He was a really lovely and talented man and is an asset to the hotel.

I really loved this hotel room. The views of the water from 456 were amazing. I think it might be one of the best rooms in the whole hotel. The beach and pool were lovely. The yoga in the morning with Louisa was so fun. Would absolutely come again. It will be very cool when the boardwalk is done. Grocery store right next door and tomb of the kings 10 minutes walk 👍👍 Really nice sandy beach but just you have to buy a chair and umbrella. 7.50 euro for two chairs and umbrella, good price. Breakfast had a lot of options but it was all just okay. I think they would be smart to do less options but put more time into making what they do more flavorful. A sheer curtain in the room would also be good so you can have privacy without total losing the light and view. A 12:00 check out would be nice. Its 11. I asked for 1 hour later checkout, which many hotels do complimentary, and they said it would cost $75. I feel like during off season it would have been nice if them to grant this small ask, especially since there is construction happening all over the beach right now.

Couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay at Crystallo apartments. The location is absolutely perfect, at walking distance from all major points of the city such as the beach, the harbour, the club street and the old town. The rooms were very well equipped (AC, cutlery, induction plate, etc.) and comfortable, all this at an extremely reasonable price. The cherry on the cake was Stathis from the reception, who was extremely kind and funny, always cracking a joke with us and providing help when needed. I 100% recommend :))

Location is great!! Close to the harbor and close to the city. They have their own pool so when its too windi to go to beach you can enjoy poolside, it's not windy there. Standard rooms could use a little update but for that price, can't complain. Room had a kettle, stove, microwave and refrigerator so you can prepare your own meals. Had big terrace whit a lovely view to the church.

Returned from a 3 day break staying at this property. The staff were so friendly & gave recommendations of activities to do. The location was absolutely perfect, less than 10 minute walk to the shopping mall or in opposite direction bars & restaurants. The room was spacious & bed comfortable. The room was clean & equipped with a tv. The pool area was reasonably small but at this time of year was perfect. Would recommend this property.

Apartment was disgusting, I don't understand how something like that is allowed to be listed on Booking. Furniture is prehistorical, beds are uncomfortable, toilette is nasty, towels are falling apart... In the room there are doors which leads you in your neighbor's room... We asked for shower shampoo, they told that they don't offer it, so I was showering with tiny hand soap block. Old man on reception was giving us instructions like we are checking in to the 5-star hotel, he was unkind. They put 0 effort in this apartment. They didn't invest 50 € in that room for last 20 years. Worst experience ever!

Never wanted to leave a hotel more badly in my life. Was there for work so unfortunately I couldn’t. Don’t come if you want a good nights sleep- walls are paper thin, no ac so you have to open the balcony door which has no screen so then you get to deal with mosquitoes and the sound of Early morning construction. Curtains only block about 50% of the light. Looks nothing like the photos. Super outdated. For an “all-inclusive” there were in fact many things not included. Only one place to get drinks and switches depending on time of day so if you’re in your room or lobby and want water in the morning tough luck you have to walk to the pool bar to get anything to drink. No toilet outside, so if you’re at the pool you have to walk all the way around past the lobby to find one. In addition to their food being disgusting I got food poisoning. Cleanliness standards 👎🏻 I’ve stayed at infinitely better hotels for the same price.

The hotel is in a prime position on a main road. Service was unbeatable and the buffet breakfast was really well done. The hot pancakes were my favourite. The staff were all very polite and served us well.

During my stay I decided to go for the all inclusive deal, wise decision. Trust me you will not get hungry food available throughout the day they really put out a great spread . I should mention the lamb cook to perfection huge selection to choose from every day. All the staff are really friendly and helpful could not fault anything got to know the bar staff really well as you can imagine ! Great location short walk to beach and evenings entertainment should not be missed they cater for all ages.

We've stayed at the Avlida before and enjoyed it so we decided to come back. My self I am a fine dining Chef back in the UK. During our previous visits the food was average but this time the food was fantastic. The new Chef Baz is doing a fantastic job being everywhere and his food is to die for, it's clear the food is way better.Congratulations!!! Definitely not sure how this place is a 4 star as the Hotel is very outdated and probably the most outdated hotel I’ve ever been to. Rooms were decent but 100% not 4 star quality as there was a lot that was half developed. Location was decent, lots of local shops, King of Tombs is near and a huge shopping mall. Beaches are near too, all walkable distance and very quick in the car too. Don’t think our room bedsheets were changed at all and we was there for a week :( They just tidied the bed. Don’t think the room floor was cleaned regularly either even tho there was cleaning staff working everyday. Shampoo etc was replaced regularly. I would rate this place a 2-3 star, even the entertainment was not that exciting and I’ve been to 3 star hotels with a much more updated look, service and entertainment. The photography done for this place is amazing because it had us fooled. Regardless the staff were all nice so thank you to them for making it better :)

Easily one of the best hotels, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, they left us hearts made from towels and a bottle of champagne for our vow renewal. The food is outstanding, the rooms clean and huge and facilities really good. The hotel has the little added extras like cakes on offer and vanity packs in the rooms. There is so much to see and do around the hotel.

We arrived at Mayfair Gardens on 28th October, when we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff our room was excellent, our housekeeper for the 2 weeks was great, friendly and polite. Food was excellent, different theme nights, staff brilliant especially Sylvia who greeted us for breakfast and lunch very friendly lady. Bar staff were all very friendly and very polite,drinks were all their own brands but if you wanted named brands you had to pay. Night time entertainment was OK, kids disco Bingo and live entertainment. Mario who was entertainment manager was fantastic, he was funny entertaining and very friendly, highly recommend for him to get a pay rise. We had the pleasure of meeting the Manager of the hotel, it was nice to see him working with his staff and talking to all the guests very polite gentleman.

First of all I would like to start with the hotel staff, at the reception they were sensitive, professional and willing to help in everything, the bartenders were friendly and very pleasant. The rooms were comfortable, cleaning services every day and a balcony for each room. The dining room had a rich selection and every day a different theme. The pools are large and there is space. The hotel itself is far (10 minute drive) from attractions but there are buses and taxis all the time so it's nonsense. Totally recommend. And I want to personally say thanks to Olga, for her concern and help in everything we needed. Highly recommend ❤️

Great hotel, got a little over busy during half term week, probably better suited to a family holiday rather than a couples getaway. If you go with the all-inclusive option, all meals are buffet style, but the quality of food was great. My only criticism would be that the drinks from the pool bar weren't the best, but other than that, everything was excellent.

Has the potential to be a great hotel, however, it’s lacking in some areas. The rooms are nice, simple and clean but the beds are really uncomfortable. Woke up with a stiff neck every morning. The pool area / main pool is very nice and warm. The food is nice, can’t complain. Nice variety and they cater to allergies which is amazing. Drinks are substandard. Most disappointing part of the stay was the incessant barrage of children’s songs, every night. Felt like I was trapped in a never ending preschool singalong. Great if you have kids, not really suited to a couple looking for a relaxing holiday. Still had good overall experience.

Lovely gardens well kept. Made the experience loads better than a hotel due to smaller buildings. Staff were 10/10 very helpful and friendly. Food was 9/10 mostly great desserts hit and miss at times. Location 9/10 fabulous sea view but about 10 minute drive to Paphos town centre (get the bus instead of taxi lots cheaper). Spa was 10/10 for price and service. Would definitely visit again.

Punhes well above the Star rating. Food was so much choice for any appetite & cooking to perfection. Staff also very friendly & welcoming. We met a lot of lovely guests, also really friendly. I don't write many reviews about Hotel's abroad but I have no reason to complain about this place at all, near perfect for what you pay. If you're a 5 star+ person & think your a special person then don't go. If you're a normal down to earth person get yourself booked in. Faultless in my opinion ( pool is cold) though! No big deal.

Had a good time for the 10 days we were there, the placement and staff are great shout out to the pool bar staff, especially Nicolas and Mario! Food was good and close to the high street amenities which is perfect and welcoming. Highly recommend going down to coralia Bay as the beach is rocks until you're in the sea, however that didn't have an effect on us enjoying it, take beach shoes and snorkels , the fish are beautiful. It would be good to have some beach chairs on the beach, but we took them from the pool side, when they were available. Overall we enjoyed our stay 😀

Good family 3 star hotel nothing more nothing less. Service in restaurants and bars excellent, all inclusive food was good standard and us and the children found plenty to eat during our week stay. The hotel is right on the sea but there is no beach to get into the water is treacherous across dangerous rocks. Water park has everything you want, slides a lazy river and a splash zone for little ones. Hotel is maintained to an OK standard and the rooms Have modern bathrooms.y holiday with plenty for the kids to do.

All inclusive holiday village with a water park attatched. Good selection of different foods at each meal time. Generous pouring of drinks. The lazy river water was a bit murky and two of the slides weren't open. At night the entertainment was family friendly. I enjoyed the Cypriot dancing. The rooms are a decent size and air conditioning works well. It's at the bottom of a steep hill, so those with mobility issues may want to choose somewhere more suitable.

The room is nice and clean, very spacious for the two of us, just a minor ant problem at night. Amazing bar staff Marius who always interacted with anyone who went up to the bar and lovely manners. You also have Mario who tries to get everyone in resort involved in activities, making it a wholesome place. The beach at the front isnt the best as its a rocky, pebble beach but you can always travel 30 minutes up the road to coral beach that has shops and cafes etc.

Staff are great, Anna at the poolside bar works her socks off. Rooms are excellent and have air conditioning free! A good place to have a family holiday. Any noise from the entertainment stops around 11.30 so the kids and the oldies can get to sleep. My only criticism was the music during the day. Some explicit rap played. Didn't expect to hear effing and jeffing at a family resort. Otherwise, it was a pleasant holiday. Food is OK and the drinks are plentiful

Wow Factor on arrival. Great job done by the porters always around when you need them. Excellently managed hotel, all the staff work as a team to insure this is a warm friendly homely place to spend your holiday. Any issues swiftly sorted. My daughter lost her new tablet in the entertainment lounge and hotel proved very honest and caring and we soon got it back which made my daughter so happy. We loved the entertainment, and you must order an addiction cocktail delicious. Great restaurant food, meet and great always very well done. Cleaners and room service keep the place absolutely SPOTLESS people cleaning everywhere all the time. Excellent massages, and management present greeting guests. Very hard to fault this hotel. To be picky maybe a drinks menu out showing what drinks are available in evening and air con should be available if requested in rooms at night time if needed as can get hot and dehydrating at night. I loved staying at this hotel. The food and the restaurant itself is amazing. It did not feel like a usual all inclusive hotel but a real restaurant. Families with children had their own area in the restaurant. That made the rest of the restaurant a quiet and romantic place. We also especially loved the fresh burgers in the Diner available during the day. The selection of all inclusive drinks is awesome. They use high quality liquors and other beverages (unlike other all-inclusive hotels I’ve stayed in before). The rooms are okay. Furniture seems a bit old. Especially the door. There was a gap through which you could see into the hallway. The room was located a few floors above the lobby bar. Because of the free air space between lobby bar and hotel room floors it was really noisy. Sometimes even until late night, so sleeping was barely possible. Nevertheless we loved the service and surroundings of the hotel and would like to come back in future.

We couldn't fault this place and thoroughly enjoyed a week there. Staff are always on hand to help and serve you. Food is plentiful varied and very tasty. Cleanliness everywhere is always very high, room, public areas and pool side. Our room a junior suite was big enough for a family of four. On the fourth floor with a great view of the pool areas and the sea beyond. The entertainment was fantastic. The in house team must work very hard on their routines and are a credit to the hotel. Fantastic hotel, and remarkably good value for 5 star. Service was excellent, food terrific. Kid's club was top notch, our son didn't want to leave and the staff were brilliant with him. Was only a 15min walk along the coast to Paphos Harbour and the Archaeological site (which was great), plus some amazing seafood restaurants. We've already booked to go back!

We stayed as a family of 4 including 2 children during Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024z You cannot get better service from staff members than this hotel. All staff members from the check in desk, bar staff, restaurant staff, gym staff are all very attentive and polite and all genuinely wish to make your stay pleasant. The rooms are very spacious and modern and are cleaned twice a day. Food and drinks are of top quality. The hotel itself is very clean. We stayed for 9 nights and left with very good memories and our monies worth. The only place where there is room for improvement is the entertainment show in the evening. The magic shows on Fridays were good but the rest of the week the shows were less entertaining. We hope to return to this hotel sometime again in future.

Been here for a week over Easter. Hotel wasn't crowded and therefore very enjoyable. I stayed in a spaceous, bright, double room on the ground floor, near the lower swimming pool. The room had private bathroom without windows. It was very quite in the room, even when sleeping with open windows. Breakfast buffet has a lot of variety, with local and continental options. Dinner buffet offered different options every night and was very good. I cannot comment on the location, as I was there with a group and we moved around with locals by car. However, we reached stunning beaches in 10 mins or so.

Attended a Christening there, did not stay in the hotel. The location was amazing overlooking the bay, and the Buffet meal was excellent with a wide variety of foods to suit everyone. The bathroom facilities there were very good, and they had plenty of parking for all the guests.

I had a very good experience during my 4 night stay. Location is about 15mins from the main center. It was good as it felt quite and more relaxing. Great view of the sea and sunset from the rooms. (Will probably depend on which room.) The breakfast is decent, and the facility is also good. Infinity Pool, gym, spa/massage.

Rooms are old and tatty and have never been renovated since probably the 1980's. Bathrooms are grimy and there are ants crawling around the furniture. The whole hotel is run down, with worn out scruffy and dirty furniture, but the swimming pools are quite clean. Breakfast is limited and is of questionable quality. The only good thing about the place is the staff who are very helpful and friendly.

The rooms are nice only the bathroom is to small ,balcony whit amazing view. Only i don't like the walls are to thin the you hear the people what they speak. When i need say something about the dinner or breakfast or generally for the food , i need say is NOT GOOD because the food is very international and all the time the same nothing new .... The Greek and Cyprus kitchen are much better but in Anmaria Beach hotel you dont get. The hotel from outside is too dark. The waiters and waitress can smiley a bit more sometime i feel the they hate all guests. The receptionist are friendly and always with smiles on there face :)

Definitely not worthy of its star rating. Apart from the location, the hotel is a huge disappointment and not one I recommend. From the most unpleasant welcome in reception, disgusting attitude from the food and beverage ladies, poor cleanliness and state of the rooms, terrible smell of the floors from dirty overused water, constant blare of music from 9am till 11pm (same playlist on repeat), you would have a more relaxing holiday checking yourself into a mental institution. Did I mention the influx of Eastern European drunken neighbours echoing through the walls at 2am. Do yourself a favour and look for another accommodation. - ROOM: big, alll with terace and nice but cleanliness not good. Cleaner just brush floor and make the bed that is it. Nothing is tidy up properly : towel, bed not made properly, table sink not cleaned. I found our coffee cups used just rince and still mark of coffee and dirty spoon!Not a 5 star for sure! The carpet in the corridor of the hotel has never been hoover for our all stay, getting dirtier and dirtier everyday! -MUSIC: loud music all day from 10am till 11pm or midnight someday. Even if we close window we can hear loud the music from our room. And everyday same playlist at same moment. At least change playlist! - FOOD: breakfast is good and lot.of choice with 1 different Cyprus bavery everyday to discover. The diner are international food, always same things (fries, pasta, mashed potatoe) + something different everydayw. Is lot of choice but not really tasty. Even if we were half board we had to pay for the drinks we want on the table wich was not specified before. - EMPLOYEES: The receptionist of the hotel are all very friendly and helpful!! BUT the main restaurant receptionist was very unfriendly , almost never hello just asking room number and moove the head to show the direction to go diner, everyday... Also, the personal in the restaurant are not friendly at all, they all looks like so unhappy, never say hi unless we say to them, often talķing between them or looking at us like they judge or dont like customers in general. Only one waiter was outsanding and amazing, his name was Ahmed very helpful and friendly and smiling. Also the blond lady at the spa is always smilling and nice. LOCATION: Hotel is well located close to the beach and nice view if you are on the sea/pool side . U can reach central Ayia napa by walk in less than 10min + off licence just outside the hotel open late night. ACCOMODATION: swimming pool inside and outside great + big gym and spa good as well. But the music in the swimming pool/spa/gym in the basement is the same for all and super loud and everyday same electric playlist. It should be differenr everyday and more relaxing music for the spa....

Nice little resort hotel with pool. It is located close to the Ayia Napa city center and our room was clean and had a view on the pool and the sea. Power adaptors can be picked up at the reception for a deposit, some amenities like the Jacuzzi need to be paid for separately. The food was good and slightly different every day.

The Aquanare could be so much better. It is in a prime spot but service is appalling. I upgraided from half board to all inclusive. You go for a drink and was given a menu that has selected drinks for all inclusive and you pay for the rest (limited). They bring you a drink and then you never see them again but hear them laughing behind the bar. Not one person comes to you when you on your lounger. The pool is tiny. Not worth the upgrade as the tea for two is just a 20 min walk up the street that serves a full English breakfast with toast jam and tea for €5.95 and that does you for the day. The pool bar closes at 5 and after that time, you will need to go upstairs to the main bar passed everyone in your swimwear to get a drink. Saying this the rooms are clean and view to die for but that it not you hole holiday. I have stayed in many hotels along this strip and this is far the worst for service and food. I thank god for tea for two every mornings the photo you see would be my breakfast for the next week. If you book a holiday please pay that little extra and say at the ivimare or leonardo it is alot better for service and food they have alacart this hotel does not. Also no mini bar even though it says in the leaflet you get that you have mini bar??? for all inclusive??? Every hotel I have stayed in has a mini bar for all-inclusive.

Nice and clean hotel. The pool area in the shadow of trees is nice and cool during the day. The beach is also fine. You should enter to water in the middle or to the right from the middle. There are underwater rocks on the left. Rooms are good, butthe rooms on the roadside suffer from traffic noise. Breakfasts are very good.

One of the best hotels in the area. Clean rooms, great service and fantastic food at the restaurants. The Spa and the swimming pool were clean and very wel maintained. We enjoyed the Gym as well as the steam and sauna. Great for couples and very well suiter families too. The staff are super friendly and have given as a free upgrade upon request. Highly recommended

We stayed here for 10 days during early March. Hotel is perfectly situated to be right on the seafront with easy walking distance to the harbour and easy links to other areas available. Staff were amazingly helpful and service was second to none. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choices available! I would 100% recommend staying here and will hope to return closer to peak season.

First time back here since 2013 when we had stayed 3 consecutive years at the Athena Beach; stayed at the Royal for 7 nights 3rd to 10th April which we chose as we don't normally holiday during out of schoolers and was relaxing, gentle but friendly to mix with younger and older couples alike. The continuation of the emplarary service, decor, cleanliness and bonhomie is evident since 2013. In the intervening years we always intended to come back to the best hotel we both agree we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything is perfect from the food variety and sustainability right down to the ambient background music, the air diffusers, efficiency of the lifts, entertainment and animation projects to the cheery greeting of all levels of staff as they quietly go about their chores.

Pretty sure all bad reviews are taken down. Room had no AC despite it being 25+ celsius, told them after the first night ac was not working, and said its not turned on yet. ok fine, asked for a fan and they brought it. My last night at 10:45pm maintenance decides to show up to "fix the ac"... I was packing and going to bed. Good to know they wanted to fix it 12 hours before i left & they wanted to make my stay comfortable right after I paid my bill... Room is outdated, fine for the price, but not really how pictures show. No outlets by the bed, only USB ports, so if you have USBC charger, you won't have your phone next to you. Did not want to tocuh anything in the room, because who knows the last time the curtains, decrotaive pillows, throw blanket had been clean (looks like they are at least 15 years old). So much dust I ended up catching a cold for my stay. Hair dryer cord is maybe 8 inches long max, therefore difficult to use. Beach is all rock and not easy to deal with, so if your looking for an easy beach to access, walk down the harbor about 20 min. Everything outdated. Oh, you also had to turn in your key ( was a physical key not a keycard) everytime you left the property. I understand if someone loses it, thats an extra expense but it became a hassle. Door handles are quite old, and in my opinion probably easy to pick. Only reason I liked the hotel was because of the location. Housekeeping, first day showed up and I asked them to come back later, she asked what time and I told her 12:30pm, never came. Went back to my room at 8:00pm to shower and get ready for dinner, and all they had done was drop off the fan. My second day, housekeeping began around 8:30am, fine but I am still sleeping so I didn't hear the knock. Not once, but 5 times the lady knocks on the door once, and then opens it not even a second later, not giving me enough time to answer her. Good think I had the door chain on otherwise she would have just walked right in. 3rd day, finally no issues with housekeeping as I left early to do a tour. Came back to shower, a part of the pipe is on the ground, and you see disgusting green (possibly mold) in it, and there has been this gross stain on the shower floor since I arrived... Sheets had holes in them & don't get changed unless you explicitly say so. Taxi/bolt - No issue with taxi booked by the hotel, just a general caution for all (especially woman) traveling solo. Friday Night I went out for an early dinner & a drink, took a bolt there no issue, the bolt driver back harrassed me and made inappropriate comments, and did not let me out until I screamed for help. 3 lovely ladies drove me back to the hotel safely, where I then asked front desk how I can report it to authorities, if theres a non emergency number. Guy at desk said he will get back to me the next day, I had no follow up. Then again, not really the hotel's fault, but was a scary experience and I would have appreciated some support. Overall the stay was not great, definitely wouldn't stay again. Didn't try any of the food on the property, but some great resturants as you walk along the water towards the harbour. Beautiful country, but my experience between the hotel & bolt driver really dissapointed me. Would have asked for a refund or some compensation but doubt expedia or the hotel would be of any help. Chose another option in my opinion, especially if you are under 70 years old Update - clearly they will not take accountability for their actions and have an excuse for everything. If the AC was fixed immediately why did it not work throughout my stay? Why did maintenance knock on my door on my last night. My room definitely was not an upgrade, compared to the photos..

Firstly this is the first part of my review for the Azia hotel as we are still here. My husband and I have travelled all over the world, and stayed in some beautiful hotels, but with regards to hospitality, cleanliness and customer service, Azia is by far the best we have had. The service and the staff and management are exceptional. They went over and above the minute we arrived and has continued throughout. Everything they do is done with a genuine smile. I selected this hotel purely on the reviews not the images on the website. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable but I don't think the photograhs show just how beautiful it is or gives it the recognition it deserves. The cleanliness is exceptional and this is one of my main requirements when booking a hotel, along with comfort. We booked the premium room with a sea view and it is lovely, ROOM 905. We arrived late at night, tired and hungry. As soon as we arrived, a lovely gentleman grabbed our bags and took us to our room, where there was a lovely Panini sandwich with salad and tortilla chips and a bottle of bubbly and red wine waiting for us. What a lovely touch, we were so impressed. On the first morning whilst at breakfast we were approached by the lovely Johanne, the Customer Relations Manager, who warmly welcomed us. Once in the room we contacted reception to advise that the room was rather chilly, and the lovely gentleman who took our cases promptly arrived with extra blankets and apologised, and explained that the heating was off due to the time of year. The following morning Johanne already knew that we advised that the room was a little cold as the temperature had dropped significantly. Johanna again apologised and promised to do what she could, and she certainly kept her word. The fact that the lovely young man had logged out concerns was amazing, shows that Azia really does care about their guests. We will definitely stay here again and tell our friends and family how truly amazing this hotel is. In addition, the hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff on the reception desk were welcoming, friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Genuinly the best resort in Paphos Cyprus, staff are all very nice and great with helping with needs and requirements etc. Great swimming pool, resort is right next to the Ocean and has a mini beach where you can watch the sunset/sunrise. Food is top tier, the Asian cuisine is brilliant, Italian is really good, and the buffets are good aswell. My mother took me here for my 16th birthday and the restaurants manager personally greeted me and offered to be our host for the night/serve us dinner etc. He was very nice and one of the nicest people I've ever met at a resort. (Also the drinks were amazing) I literally have zero complaints for this place, 10/10

Just returned from our honeymoon stay here. We were some of the last guests of the season so it was really quiet in the hotel but we enjoyed that. On arrival we were given a free upgrade to a jacuzzi suite which was fantastic. Staff were amazing throughout our stay, very helpful, polite and friendly. The room and views from the balcony were gorgeous. Everywhere in the hotel was immaculately clean. We went half-board but probably would've been worth going all inclusive as drink prices are pretty high. The breakfast buffet was fantastic but the evening buffet and food at the Italian restaurant were average. Not sure if this is just because we were at the end of the season. The location isn't as central as we were expecting, the nearest supermarket is a 10 min bus ride away and there are just 2 restaurants within a short walk of the hotel, both are great though. The reception staff gave us information about the bus route which stops a 1 min walk from the hotel entrance and is every 10/15 mins. It's really easy to visit the harbour and coral bay from here. Would highly recommend this hotel and hopefully we'll be back next year! Thank you

Excellent service from all the staff. Pool, breakfast and spa are all excellent. Loved the location, being able to walk to the harbour and to old town Pafos. Rooms are very comfortable and hotel food is great. Staff helped plan excursions including the highly recommended day exploring Cyprus in a guided Land Rover tour with George's Safari.

This is a beautiful hotel. Everything about it is finished to a very high standard. The staff are attentive and are a pleasure to meet. The location is amazing along the fantastic Paphos coast. The only downside is the hotel have not turned the air conditioning on, so the units only work as fans. I’m sure this is just the time of year (March) however, although it is cool outside, the rooms are like ovens. It was very difficult to sleep even with just a sheet on the bed. Opening the outside door just invited a hoard of mosquitoes into the room. A team of 6 of us stayed here in various rooms across the hotel and had exactly the same experience. It is a shame for such a beautiful hotel.

Really sorry about the place because it could be very good especially for families but the personnel was unprofessional, difficult communication and slow service, and the rooms were dirty. One of the rooms they showed us was unbelievable, dust, warms and insects everywhere. They finally gave us a better room (not clean as it should be) but after one night we left the place immediately. Not recommended!
