We arrived here at the end of March and everything was awesome, the rooms were clean and spacious. Food was great including world foods and Spanish dishes, drinks were fresh and tasty! Service tried their very best to entertain the kids. I would recommend this hotel if you have small kids. Only, I would say is that next time would you include water bottles in rooms? There were pools for kids and adults to go in, the pools are fun and cleaned well but if you like a fresh, clean swimming pool I would definitely recommend the pools for you :). Be warned that you need to actually know how to swim as the adult pool can reach up to 2.5 metres, there is a snack bar beside of the swimming pool, the toasties and chips are the best! Great for a 1 week holiday. Things included: Play area Pools Restaurant Entertainment Bar Kids show Spa Kids club Apartments Rooms Suites The location was near a local beach, good restaurants are nearby Looking forward to come again:) ( This is my 9 year olds daughter's review what she wants to write. Just came back from a 10 night stay. Absolutely fine and fun for a 3 star hotel. The staff worked really hard and the room was cleaned most days. Food and drink was ok they even put on a sushi night which was nice. This is not The Ritz so don't expect it to be. It's reasonably priced 3 star hotel.

Family of five (three children 2,4 & 6)stayed here for a week at the end of March. It was fantastic. The pools were a bit chilly but really well thought out. The staff were all super lovely and so incredibly hardworking. The food was delicious- especially the salads!!! I have no idea how they turned it all around so quickly. We loved our stay. Thank you to On The Beach for organising and we would really recommend!! Especially for a family. It was fab!!!! The staff are amazing.

Ok so when we arrived the staff were lovely and helpful The room was really peaceful and the children enjoyed the water pools The food for adults were also great with some lovely choices such as pork joints to large portions of salmon If I was to complain about the food it was the children’s choice as every night was the same pizza chips spaghetti Maybe chicken nuggets or even sausages?? That really needs to change The salads were absolutely the best we have had We had one issue with the hotel I went to reception it was addressed with immediate effect Please don’t always read bad reviews as we went after reading some bad ones but it’s really a lovely place in a lovely spot By the way the beach is literally over the road and is Gorgeous!!!! Keep up the good work but please sort the children’s menu !!!

Great holiday for the third time. We stayed in the premium appartements, that are the great ones in our experience! Food we only had in the first visit to the hotel, it's fine, especially since it's all-in. But we like to go out every day. Rooms are pretty clean, but you always can ask for them to come by if somethings wrong. Nothing is to much for them!

We have had a fantastic family holiday, the staff are very friendly and really do go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The restaurant and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff are fantastic they work amazingly hard and even though they obviously work long hours they are always so enthusiastic and full of energy they really did make our holiday. Lukas is so funny we loved watching him on stage and Alex’s energy is contagious we had the best time every evening. Thank you to all of you, we hope to be back soon.

I want to leave a fair and helpful review for people. Stayed here at the beginning of the season 2024, Easter. Firstly I would stay here again if I could get a good price. It’s not quite 4****. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was well big enough for the two of us. It was a room for 3 or 4 I think. Clean and tidy but slightly dated, massive balcony. Nice location and pool area clean and tidy, lots of sun beds, lovely pool. Staff helpful enough. Bizarre bit was you have to pay a deposit it seems for everything including the half pint plastic glasses used around the pool. All inclusive means the drinks are free but you have to pay a euro for the cup! You get it back when you take the cup back. Whilst it says there is an iron included in amenities in room, you have to pay a deposit and rent it for €12 per week. Deposit of €15 for safe key and €6 for rent of safe. Whilst sun beds are free around the pool you have to pay €20 a day if you use the double sun beds. Overall I would stay again however think it should be classed as a 3***. We absolutely adored Cala Dor 😀

You get what you pay for, I guess. Not the best hotel I've been to and would suggest a 3 star accommodation at best. We went all inclusive to keep it a cheap and cheerful for a 4 day getaway, but surprised to have to pay €1 for a refillable cup and pay rental on towels with a hefty €20 deposit (cash) each. Beware the "exclusive" sun bed section, which again needs rental or the lifeguard will be happy to enforce a get of policy before asking if you've booked, maybe a bigger signage, so you don't feel like you've been told off for an honest mistake. We weren't the only ones. The room smelled and was basic with a non functioning safe, no soap in the shower and towels were wafer thin. Food is what you'd expect and all on all the location is probably the best part of the experience. Will not leave a comment on the entertainment as it was entertaining for all the wrong reasons.

Great hotel for a 3 star. The food was a bit disappointing and mostly cold! We went just before the season started, so not much on or open. Rooms were good with plenty of space. Lovely bar staff. It's a great place if the weather is nice.

This is a fun, attractive, clean, well maintained aparthotel. The food and service are great. The evening entertainment is outdoor and music through the day is not intrusive and allows for quiet areas. It is a very high 3* or good 4*. Well staffed and not overcrowded. Great value, I can see why Mallorcans pop down for the weekend! There's a decent gym and I would pack some short racquets/balls if you can!

Loved this place! Reception smells soooo nice! Comfy beds and large rooms with large personal balconies. I didnt use the bar atall so can't comment on pricing in the hotel. Seemed good for families as there was entertainment every night. Staff was very polite at reception. Everything went so smoothly that we didn't have to ask for any assistance all week! The down side: we wasn't able to go to the pool together as people would reserve the pool seating all day with their towels. There was a sign saying the lifeguards would remove after an hour but this never happened. Some people would be gone all day and towels still there in the morning. It ruined our stay a little and ruined the pool experience. The aircon was super loud but it done its job so cant complain. Would 100% return to this hotel! Seemed the nicest in the area and I really would recommend to all ages.

Stayed here for a week, our first all inclusive. Rooms very spacious and lots of room to spread out. Lovely balcony’s to watch over the pool which came with table, chairs and sun-loungers. Food was really nice, however vegetarian options were limited and found there was a lot of repeats. There is a snack bar open 2x in the day so not 24hr but we found ourselves fine with the 3 meals. Wide variety of drinks but cocktails not included, you ‘make your own’. Staff all super lovely and work really hard, entertainment was also super fun and enjoyed the variety of what they had on in the evenings. 2 young girls and felt super safe in the resort in general, just the right size. Lovely beaches nearby, perfect for swimming, diving and boat trips!

Beautiful hotel and lovely surroundings. Close to a little beach, and round the corner from shops and restaurants. Cute little area. Only downfall is the food, we ate out more times than in… It’s quite repetitive, and a lot of salad. Not much selection. There isn’t a snack bar throughout the day, which i think is a downfall… it’s advertised but not available. It’s €1 for a cup, you have to keep and take to the bar when you next would like a drink. There’s a restaurant in the hotel too, and a pizzeria within it, lovely pizza! You have to pay, but you get 20% off if you’re all inclusive. Rooms are lovely and spacious. We had the ground floor which comes with grass out back, 2 sun lounges and a table with 4 chairs. Entertainment was quite good actually.

Hotel was dark, no lights at night along most blocks. (Take a torch!) Very creepy. Pools were lovely. Staff friendly, very clean. Sadly the entertainment was a let down.

I can't recommend this lovely hotel enough. Rooms are traditionally designed, spotlessly clean, quiet. Staff are kind, friendly and warm welcoming. Food served is home cooked and very tasty. Pool area spotless and relaxing. Location is excellent with a supermarket 2 minutes walk and close to everything. As a solo traveller, I feel comfortable, safe and at home.

What a perfect little pearl of a hotel! Pilar and Michael are the perfect hosts for this wonderful place, and the cleaners were all so friendly and adorable. Lovely rooms and private bathrooms, air-con (which we needed), a mini-fridge, a private pool and a great bar all made for a great second stay here. We were even able to borrow a kettle and some cups from the bar. The free wi-fi is a life-saver considering how spotty the coverage can be in Cala d'Or, and the offer of beach towels you can borrow for the duration of your stay is a great touch. And as there were 5 of us, with an evening flight home, the hosts were gracious enough to allow us to keep one of the rooms for a few extra hours, so no dragging our suitcases around (although they do also offer a storage room for suitcases and a shower in the main building). Amazing, and cannot wait to come back. Thanks for another brilliant holiday!

Can't say enough good things about Ses Puntetes. I stayed for 10 days in a double room with small terrace and bar fridge  During my stay I appreciated the quiet, clean and refreshing swimming pool with chairs, tables and sun loungers; the relaxing couch and selection of books; the delicious buffet breakfasts which filled me up until late afternoon (pancakes with freshly cooked bacon and maple syrup a particular favourite); the cosy bar and terrace; the killer jugs of sangria, strong Irish coffee and generous glasses of wine; the friendly, hard working, competent, respectful and intelligent staff - from the cleaning lady to the cook to the bar staff and receptionist they worked as a team to take care of guests. Not once in 10 days did I hear anyone complain. The staff recommended trips and activities and booked these for me. I saw others hiring cars and bikes. I only had dinner at the hotel once and this was reasonably priced and cooked to order. The bedrooms are no frills, but my room was clean, private and comfortable and I was happy to pay a lower price so I could spend my money on food, drink and activities rather than fancy toiletries and frequent changes of bedding. Thank you Pilar, Ana and Michael for your warm hospitality.

We moved here from another local hotel that were extremely depressing. The check in and Receptionist Lady made the experience effortless. The best service I’ve seen in this area! (Let’s face it it’s pretty bad when your British around here!) Rooms are clean with AC, cleaned daily, and beds are acceptable. Didn’t get breakfast. The location is next to the main strip with bars and restaurants and ample shopping.

The staff are fantastic. The room we had was very dated. The bathroom door sticks as you open it. Rust marks seeping out at the side of the bath. Things that would be seen by cleaners (which do a great job keeping everything spotless), every second day and easy to resolve. Also, some nice pictures or paintings on the walls of the living area and bedroom would do a lot to make the place a lot more homely. Beds were comfortable, and the room was lovely and quiet. The pool area is lovely. It's great to see towels being removed from "reserved" beds..

Very basic accommodation, you get what you pay for! Rooms are dated but quite clean. Very close to centre of cala d'or, a bit noisy at night due to karaoke bar on till 1am but that will depend on which apartment block your staying in. Not eaten at the hotel so can't comment on that. Nice guy greeted us at reception upon arrival. You can rent a safe for €15, room has dated kitchenette, Hairdryer, ironing board but we couldn't find an iron. Cheap and cheerful if that's what you're after. As for Cala D'or itself it seems to have gone downhill after our first visit 6 years ago so we won't be returning. As the restaurants are poor at best and that's being generous, hard to find any decent food in this resort, perfect if you like frozen processed food everywhere. Overpriced for most things and apart from the sea being beautiful the resort itself just needs an uplift and for the locals to stop being rude and complacent with tourists as people can go anywhere and not bother to return as we won't.

The hotel is in a great location, only a couple minutes of walk to the beach and the center. The breakfast is decent and the rooms are nice but ready for renovation. The pool is good, but they're closing at 18 or 19h and moving everyone from the sun beds, also it's still a lot of time until sunset.

Spent the last week of September here with Easyjet holiday's. We stayed in a studio, a good size apartment with ample space and nice bathroom. Ola apartments were exactly what we needed for our no hassle holiday, central location, a pool with a bar showing live sports and nightly entertainment. The selection of food and drink at the pool bar was excellent, the only downside were the prices.

Not too far to walk into centre where there are lots of restaurants, bars and cocktail bars. There are shops restaurants and children's play area all near Hotel. We went in May weather was good apart from 1 day. Booked to go again next year.

Okay, when we booked this, we booked on location. Having seen the photos, Cala ferrera hotel is in a beautiful location. Its next to a turquoise coloured sea and sandy beach cove, it really is like the photos we saw before we went. Only issue is we were the last drop on the nearly 2hr hotel transfer, and as Ryanair kindly pushed our flights back 6hrs, that made for a late night and missed first day. The hotel itself is clean, it looks like Cabot are slowly trying to upgrade this place, however, the rooms are very basic. I can only speak for our room...it was clean, it had beds, the bathroom was basic but functional (hot and cold water, no leaks, decent shower pressure blah blah). The furniture and decor is bad though, time travel back to the 70s. They do have tvs though, plug sockets for charging stuff. For parents with small kids and disabled people, note of caution, there aren't any ramps other than to reception. Getting around the hotel though is difficult for people with walking disabilities and parents with prams and pushchairs. To be fair the town is like that a bit aswell, getting to the beaches looked difficult. Right, we were all inclusive. So standard Spanish fare, with a twist. There is variety, but not day to day. Given the time of year and turnover of food daily, I think some of the food is reused on a day to day basis. Personally, I found it okay, 3 meals a day, made it through unscathed some of it decent some of it questionable. Paella at lunch is nice. The food situation is being monitored by holiday companies, we spoke to a jet 2 rep outside on our last day, and he said they were starting to make this a focus after complaints last year. My wife and youngest did get ill, but we weren't sure if it was the food, drink, or heat from the weather, either way they have a long way to go to get the food up to scratch. Drinks, not to sure on prices, pretty standard I think, although no cocktails are all inclusive, just beer, wine, sangria, cider, some liquors, soft drinks, coffee. The pool is freezing, set up for the summer months. Luckily, we had decent weather, but hardly anyone was using it, it is small aswell. There are pool tables inside and out and a limited selection of arcade games for kids. Entertainment is basic. Their entertainment team consists of 1 lady, Sara, (who was lovely by the way) trying a 1 person weekly variety act, Bingo, karaoke, music quiz, sara got a singer in 1 night, all sorted by sara. The town is a 15-45 min walk from the hotel (dependant on how many shops you stop in on the way). It is a lovely little place with plenty of bars, restaurants and 5 different beaches. There is a land train that you can get to save walking. Cala d'or is really nice, for a week's holiday on the cheap we made the most of it. We thought the staff in the hotel were great, really friendly and welcoming and helpful. The location and scenery is beautiful and we found plenty to do during the day and evening. I'd find it hard to really recommend the hotel just yet, it's just dated and tired and needs a kick up the arse, other than that we had a great time, would visit the area again.

We stayed here for 1 week in October 23, with a twin sea view room (rm505). Good air conditioning unit, quiet enoigh to have on at night. Hotel would benefit from an update, and the food could be a little more diverse. The menu for drinks is fairly limited for AI option, but has what you need to stay lubricated and happy. The room walls are a little thin, so neighbours can be heard. With single glazing windows, the noise does also travel from outside/neighbouring hotels as well. Some of this is due to the acoustics of the Cala area. On the whole, very good value for money, great staff, and beautiful location and views. If the hotel did get the updates, the prices not doubt would be much higher than they are now.

Hotel itself is not new, but well kept and very clean. Normally I wouldn’t go for HB (booked thru booking) but price was nearly the same as room with breakfast. Food was tasty with good variety, most changing daily. Service in restaurant and bar is terrible, had several bad experiences with them and I’m generally polite, non complaining person. First day during dinner one of the waiters came shouting on us that we cannot have drink during dinner as we’re not all inclusive, we were just looking around as it was first day (we haven’t approached pouring any drinks, didn’t have a glass in hand etc.) - and that’s only one of several unpleasant situations we had. It’s not mind blowing hotel, but good value for money (we’ve been in October, so it could be much cheaper than in the high season) and normally if not service I would rate it higher.

Went for an all-inclusive holiday for a week with the family, and it wasn't great there's 5 cocktails that you could have for free. Nothing more alcoholic was available without . The food is mediocre, but that's what you get with all-inclusive. the location is lovely. The sunrises are stunning it's only a 10 minute walk to cala D'or we're there's amazing places to eat out of 10 ill give it a 6/10

Just came back from a wonderful week at this hotel, yes it is outdated and the food was not great but we already knew that and is more than reflected in the price , but now the good bits , the hotel is in the best location you could ever wish for and the views are nothing more than stunning ! , please book sea view as you will not be disappointed , the staff were friendly and hardworking and made you feel at home , big shout out to Sara the entertainment girl and the lady on reception who was so helpful and also the cleaning and catering staff who were very hardworking and always with a smile , just a note on the food , we always found something to eat and it really was not as bad as some say , the salads were especially good ! Cannot wait to come back again and visit this little bit of paradise !

The hotel is very comfortable for a vacation. The apartments have a kitchen, although with very little equipment. It has a swimming pool and various free activities (mini golf, floor chess, jacuzzi, gym, etc). The location is super quiet and very close to several restaurants and bars. There's also a supermarket right next door. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away.

Nice place; good pool; sun beds available all day pool bar reasonably priced; one bed apartments were a bit small, but 2 beds far larger. Lots going on, and supermarket next door. Some good beaches walking distance. However local shops and restaurants a bit 'Blackpool', nevertheless they are good value. Lots of ants in hotel grounds but each apartment is provided with insect killer spray to keep them at bay. Had a pleasant week there. Special point to thank the hotel's reception staff who were all extremely helpful. The timeshare sales people weren't too intrusive, however totally incapable of answering most basic questions about their product (Can I see the contract? Can I check the availability of your offers? Can you show me figures demonstrating how the rental income has risen in recent years? Are you based in Andorra to avoid EU rules on timeshares? etc)

We had a very nice October stay half board. Warm and pleasant weather Staff were helpful and friendly The room was small but perfectly OK, we got a very good deal so I reckon it was really good value The water park was great Quiet location which we like, not far from shops You can't drink the tap water anywhere in this area so we bought bottled water and pop from the spa. Water only available free for half board, but we knew this so no problem. Room had a small fridge

We typically dine later in the evening and arrived at the restaurant around 8:45 PM. To our surprise, we were not allowed to sit down inside and were instead asked to go outside, where children were playing loudly. So we needed to pick the food in a hurry and it is not norman. We had spent over 1300 euros to stay here and expected a more respectful and considerate treatment. It was extremely disappointing to be kicked out 20 minutes before closing time, especially considering the substantial amount we had invested in our stay.

I recommend it to anyone dreaming of a family vacation. In this hotel you will find everything you need. Food very good, 3 times a day plus snacks between meals. The service was very nice, especially the lady at the reception, I'm not sure, I think her name was Maria. A wonderful woman with a big heart, always helpful. Overall, the hotel is old, you can see it everywhere. The rooms were cleaned daily but not thoroughly in my opinion. The children's pool is really great. There are shops and restaurants near the hotel. The bay is literally meters away from the hotel. I recommend!

It did exactly what it said on the tin !! Rooms were basic but cleaned everyday. Pools were great(and reasonable temperature) kids pool was loved by my daughter. Food was okay, we always found something to eat, from pasta to rice and from fish to meat, also a good cold selection. Only negatives were the poor entertainment and possibly a bit of a touch up in some areas. Good access to the beach and local shops/ restaurants. Staff were very helpful. As some reviews have mentioned, there are a lot of Germans, but also some French,Spanish,Polish and we met a LOT of English families. OVERALL GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

Overall this is a 3 star hotel at a very reasonable price. Perfect for families with small children. Clean, decent food and located at a very beautiful area. Rooms 2/5 Rooms were just OK. I can usually sleep anywhere but these beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There was only salt water from the tap and shower and there was no shampoo or conditioner. The TV had some poor reception and stopped working at times. However, the rooms were very clean and if you don't spend too much time there, you'll be alright. 3/5 Food Food was generally good with a wide selection. Kitchen was open basically all day. There's no ala carte just the buffet. 4/5 service Staff was so friendly and helpful. Every evening they had some entertainment for the children and later on for adults.

Superb location and great service throughout our stay. Made to feel welcome and kids had a blast. Only criticism is that they could have heated one of the outdoor pools. Breakfast was adequate but did not go for evening meals, plenty of places around. Beach/pool bars were great - will definitely go again if in Cal O'dor

Staying here at the moment in block D 213 over looking the pool and have not been disappointed. I read someone complaining saying it's not a 3 star hotel. I personally think it's good for a 3 star . It is the second week of Scottish easter holidays so is quite quiet. Rooms are adequate for family of four. Hotel is spotless and cleaned daily.Situated by some lovely small coves. And close to some nice restaurants. Large kids adventure park nearby. Prices are a tad too high in hotel itself so we tend to have a few drinks in some of the nearby restaurants. Evening entertainment is in the sister hotel next door. Good gym. Small indoor pool which was very busy on the one cloudy morning . Good quality sunbeds around a nice pool.

Loved this hotel! It's exceptionally clean and well looked after. Gorgeous views everywhere you go. You are allowed to use their sister hotels as well which is a bonus. Haven't tried the food so cannot comment on that. But the beach bar/restaurant was amazing. The yummiest potato wedges I've ever tried. My daughter loved the kids club, it was the highlight of the holiday for her. Evening entertainment is good as well. There's is an inside swimming pool and sauna which was lovely when the days were cooler. Rooms are spacious and clean. A few more plates and a microwave or an over would be good. Safe in the room.

1 Star hotel masquerading as a 3 Star. Employees unhelpful. A perfect example of you get what you pay for. Families from Europe stay here because it’s cheap. Pay more get more. Location is great but this place is a poser in every way. Just pay for a 4 or 5 Star hotel to get much more where they don’t charge you for pool towels. Lame. Only redeeming thing is walkable to many overcrowded restaurants. 22C is as low as you can set AC. Yet another low budget poser feature. If you are an older couple or couple without kids this isn’t your place. This is a low budget family place unless you like many screaming kids in the swimming pool with you.

Our first holiday abroad and it was amazing close to all amenities and 2 coves service was good only stayed 6 nights and room was clean and spacious beds really comfy large balcony with sea views would definitely recommend.

The hotel and complex is fine. Actually lovely building and area. Some of the amenities could be upgraded to improve things but it’s a 3 star place and that’s what you get and it is for the most part absolutely ok. The pools and choice of pools are good. The view is amazing. The staff have been nice enough but so far we’ve not really needed to interact other than at check in (we were super late, lady was lovely) and the bar where at 10:50 the bartenders seemed to be hiding in the back.

My friends and I stayed here for 6 days and really really enjoyed our stay. Although there are a few signs of wear in the rooms by a few I mean literally very few, rooms are very modern and clean and spacious, the balcony is an extra nice touch to the hotel and our room was cleaned most days by the lovely cleaners. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was exciting as most nights had a theme which we enjoyed and there’s a wide variety of stuff to try. Snack bar is also nice especially for lunch and we really enjoyed the swimming pools. Also in a really good location, would definetly come back !

This was my first time at the resort and it was great for a getaway. The staff were nice and the rooms were great as they provided a living area and balcony. The hotel also offered a shuttle bus every ten minutes to the beach for free which was great. Would go back.

We have been back about 3 weeks and are looking at going back.we went as group of 10 which at meal times was quite difficult to seat us all together but this is to be expected. The hotel is situated next to a lovely marina with love lovely restaurants and bars. Most nights we went to a bar called the smugglers great staff and service as the hotel entertainment was a bit of a let down. Food was ok with theme nights which made a change. Rooms were a good size a with a modern feel.

Lovely big rooms with plenty storage and big balcony. Excellent location by the marina with views from the restaurant and chill out bar /adult pool. Not far from main resort centre (though if walking is uphill). Good adult only areas and big family pool with lovely atmosphere - animation team very lively with activities throughout the day. Plenty of selection of food in the restaurant only feedback would be that effort should be made for a hot 'main' that is vegetarian each lunch and dinner. Great hotel would definitely recommend

Was a bit worried arriving at the hotel due to reading some of the reviews. The hotel was a good base, comfortable beds, clean and the food was okay. I think some people expect a 5 star experience when paying for a 3 star hotel! There was meat, fish and pasta on offer each day and plenty of vegetables and salads. We had problems with our key when we first arrived but this was rectified and I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor over the bridge, the room was ample for the three of us. We found the marina and a few other beaches, including Esmeralda. There was a place were you cd get a drink and snacks. If you want to explore there is a 'train' and for 5 euros you can have an hour ride. They are every hour. All in all I believe you make the holiday you have so decide you are going to chill and enjoy!

8 day holiday in a surprisingly hot October. The place is still almost full. Location for Cala d' Or is perfect only an easy walk to an excellent beach and a whole host of bars and restaurants. The room is fine for a 3 star, no fridge, etc, as i expected. AC is working, to a fashion. Breakfast is actually very good with plenty of choice and nice grub. The other 2 meals were less so good, and to be honest, in hindsight, I would have been better on B&B rather than all-inclusive. The bar and snack offering are very basic. As there are so many great places within 5 mins walk, why bother being stuck in a hotel?

Had a lovely week here. Hotel is clean, food has been hot and plenty of choice each meal time and always plenty of seating room available inside and out. Rooms are cleaned every day, beds comfy. The room deco is slightly dated but to be honest cleanliness is more important.....only really in the room to sleep so doesn't matter. Only downside is no fridge! AC lovely and cold. Pools are clean and warm. Plenty of sunbeds. Great location right opposite Cala Gran beach, we had a Seaview room and it was ideal with the perfect views of cala gran beach. Everything in walking distance. Lots of little areas to sit and relax at, couple of bars scattered about too. Staff friendly and helpful. The idea they have regarding room keys is a brilliant and easy system. They've got a tag on the wrist band you are given when you check-in so always on you and not having to remember keys.....whoever thought of that is brilliant! Lovely hotel to stay at. The idea behind having to have a euro each to get a drink (glass) at the bars and a plate at the snack bars is something different but once you get use to it it's quite a good idea as keeps all the areas clean, tidy and rubbish free. Once you hand them back in you get your euro back👍

Loved this hotel, clean food was nice and beautiful mock tails and drinks! We made lots of friends aswell with one of the animation team Justin who was super funny! The town was beautiful and so was the beach which was like a 30 second walk from the hotel. People are putting bad reviews but I can’t agree with any of them, rooms are basic but ours was quite nice and the hotel in my opinion was beautiful and the pool was amazing! They don’t allow floats and balls but they did allow water squirts and snorkels and even though we had to wait for the pool to open so we could get a sunbed, we turned it into a game of sunbed wars which I actually really miss! Pool could open a bit earlier but really I can’t say anything negative. On our last night, we played pool with our friends with the music from the night time entertainment being played outside and just lived on mock tails. At the night there does need to be another bar tender but overall a pleasant experience. We arrived at midnight due to the plane being delayed for 3 hrs but it was a fun experience non the less and they provided us with food on our arrival. I didn’t want to leave. In my eyes, it was perfect. People say it’s basic and the rooms are but the hotel is like a typical island hotel and it was beautiful I loved it. There was a large range of activities. Thank you for a wonderful holiday! One thing I would say is please add pancakes to the breakfast buffet!!! And the cakes were gorgeous compliments to the chef

At the pool block D the cleaning was not done properly. - no free bottles of water at the bar. - very limited opening hours at the smaller swimming pool bar (block D) - not enough cups and bowls during breakfast and dinner - use of safe is €3 a day - food quality is below expectations - no fresh juices (only post mix/dispenser, if it works) and very limited fresh fruit (breakfast) - no coffee machine at our room - coffee at the bar taste salty

Been here for 8 days, tomorrow is our last day & we don't want to go home! The room we have is perfect, we've got a ground floor terrace with sea views! The food is lovely, everywhere is so clean & tidy. Kids club is brilliant. All the staff have been amazing especially Dani, Fabi & Desi.. they have been great entertainers getting everyone involved in activities. We've stayed in the complex almost everyday because it has everything you need. Thank you to you all for a wonderful holiday! ♥️

The hotel itself is a little worn down and there are some undeniable facts like the smelly air conditioning and the salty tap water. However the food was very tasty and there was always something at the buffet that was to our liking. Mixed drinks like gin tonic were ok, just avoid the cocktails. The greatest feature of this hotel is the staff though. Every member we encountered was super friendly and helpful. They were communicating very well and super motivated to be make the guests happy. From front desk to housekeeping we did the really enjoy the employees and had no negative encounters at all!

We have just spent a lovely week here and would definitely recommend to all. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, cleaned daily too. The food is plentiful and a great mix for all to enjoy, the staff work so hard at every meal. The location is perfect, right next to the sea so we enjoyed watching boats sailing by. Shops and restaurants all in walking distance. The entertainment team (Ricky, Miriam and all the rest of the team) have been great with our children and they loved the mini disco each night. Definitely recommend to families!

Great setting by the sea. Pool area and accommodation is a little dated but adequate, and with most places needs more sun beds and parasols. Food is excellent as are the serving and waiting team, and always pleasant. The animation team worked hard all day, every day offering lots of activities for children of all ages, and adults too. At times a hands free pa system or jingle would be useful to allow their activities to be announced. Especially at night for the mini disco so they can be heard without having to shout over the music! A young and energetic team, our children enjoyed joining in 😁.

Incredible place & an awesome experience! By far the best thing here is the view and the services. Everything looks clean and well maintained, with lots of pools surrounded by palm trees and other plants! The check-in was great, people there were very helpful and polite. The room was huge and very clean, so was the bathroom. We also had a living room, let's say, with a big couch and a spacious balcony (there was a table and 2 chairs on the balcony, perfect for morning coffee or just chillin). The entire group/park of accommodations is really big, and I saw around 5 or 6 different pools there. We had breakfast in one of our days there and it was really good, with lots of options (especially sweets). In the evening, they have all kinds of events on a stage there, just to entertain the guest. And the view....just breathtaking!! You can see Cala Esmeralda Beach from wherever and it's really amazing. I'd surely recommend it for longer stays (we stayed there just 2 nights) because you can really enjoy all of the perks! 10 out of 10!!

We stayed at this hotel in September 2023, 2 adults and 2 kids. The beach is beautiful, just in front of the hotel, very handy with small kids. The hotel has 3 pools, 1 for adults only, and 1 for small children. The entertainment was fine. The kids loved Pablo from kids' entertainment. We went for half board, food was good 👍. We loved our experience in Cala d'or!

We visited Esmeralda Park as it was part of the hotel complex. The beach is beautiful, lots of places to eat and drink. Staff and entertainment were excellent. The evening entertainment was fun and engaging. The only thing that let it down was the main complex restaurant, €25 per person (did not include one drink) for a poor quality buffet style dining experience. The food was bland uninspiring.. I had pork in a white sauce, the pork was raw... it is a shame, it was the only thing that was not up to par. There are plenty of alternatives in the town.

Great holiday resort, very relaxed vibe. Personnel is friendly, rooms are cleaned daily to great standards. The nearby beach, Cala Esmeralda, is amazing. Sandy beach with amazing view of the sea with crystal clear water. Points to improve are enforcing the rule of no sunbed reservations and pricing of restaurant buffet. By the pools it says no placing towels to reserve sun beds, but despite this rule at 9:30am there are almost no free beds left, which is a shame. Have to go to the beach with paid beds at €7,50 per bed.

Extremelly dissapointed with the Room we got. The staff in reception was lovely. The cleaning crew was loud. And you could tell everytime they were in the building. Overall also the room wasnt cleaned the best. Specially the fridge. Lightbulb not working in the room. A horrible musty smell in the whole room (cellar smell) And the tv was damaged ( discoloured on the right side). Location is superb. And hotel grounds are beautiful. But for the price per night, for what we got i dont recommend.

Just arrived back from a 7 night stay and had a fantastic time. We are people who like to go for dinner and drinks every night, and all restaurants and bars are within a 10-minute walk. The rooms are perfect, nothing to complain about - beds are made for you daily with towel changes, and there is a fridge, kettle, iron, and hairdryer. There is plenty of storage for clothes etc. All the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn’t do all-inclusive, but the drinks prices are comparable with the other places in town, and there was entertainment most evenings. The buffet breakfast has a wide variety of options for all tastes. The pool area is brill. It was busy, but we managed to get sunbeds each afternoon. The hotel is very close to the beach and it's a nice walk to the marina and the other nearby beaches. There were also plenty of shops to wander around. I would definitely recommend both the hotel and the resort to others.

We stayed here for 7 nights and had an amazing time. We are people that like to go for dinner and drinks every night and everything is no more than 10 minutes away. The rooms are perfect, nothing to complain about - beds are made for you daily with towel changes. Only complaint is that the floor gets soaked when showering but not a big deal when there are floor towels to mop it up. We didn’t do all inclusive but the drinks prices are reasonable and food is your standard hotel breakfast - includes a glass of Cava. Pool area is great you will always get a Sunbed and you are 1min walk from a great sandy beach. Overall we would definitely come here again.

Just back from a 10 night stay at the gorgeous Tucan hotel. This hotel is very central to all bars and restaurants and is roughly a 10/15 minute walk to marina and just across the road from Cala Gran beach. Rooms were cleaned everyday, staff were very helpful and accommodating but a big shout out goes to the bar staff, they go above and beyond for guests and have a great sense of humour. Breakfast buffet every morning was so nice and fresh and has a wide range of food, something there for everyone to eat. The pool area was spotless and we never struggled getting 2 sun beds beside each other, even in the afternoon!! Lifeguards & Pablo (entertainer) were fantastic and very interactive with guests. All in all we throughly enjoyed our stay and would only recommend Tucan if looking for an adult only hotel while staying in Cala D’or. We’ve already looked into coming back next year which I cannot wait for already !! Thank you to all staff for fantastic hospitality. See you again soon :)

Rooms a little dated and two single beds pushed together for a double. Staff are very nice and attentive, cava on arrival. If there were 6stars available this hotel would get it for the food which is top notch. Great bars with live music nearby, although some of the hotel acts were very good. Recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I`m going with a 2/5 and not a 1/5 as there are some nice places to drink away from the hotel. As a whole though this is the worst place we have stayed in Mallorca and certainly will not return. We Booked and paid extra to take our own bikes in bike boxes. We were informed we had been placed on the THIRD floor. when I asked if we could move to a ground floor room was informed it was at 100% occupancy (it wasnt). I was then laughed at by staff as i struggled to carry our bikes up 3 flights of tight stairs. Not the best start to your £2k plus Holiday you have been looking forward to for 12 month...... Our room. The Kettle was full of mould and scum and would not boil. Took it to reception and within 5 mins was given a "new" kettle. It wasn't new that too would not bold. I went to the phone this time to call reception..... phone didn't work. I walked back to reception and they informed me if my phone was bust i should just use my mobile to call them, the number is on the internet..... oh yeah... Internet also not working in our area of the hotel. A 3rd kettle was given to us which turned out to be the first one i return ...... :-( Now "entertainment" During the day when we tried to relax round the pool we heard the rep doing the family bingo dropping innuendos such as "69, you know what i mean" and other non family comments. The Bar was seriously overpriced, we went once and wondered why it was quiet. well 6 euros a drink and extremely loud happy hardcore dance music will do that. The Kids party was held in extremely poor lit outdoor area directly next to the pool. I was amazed non of the kids went in. Breakfast was a half bearable experience. you had to queue up for coffee which was made infront of you. why could this not be on a machine ? usually the queue was 15 long while one lady (who was lovely) worked her hardest to serve everyone as quickly as possible. Food was the same every breakfast which wasnt too bad but many mornings you had to go hunting for plates as there was none. The Sauna...... So this hotel is family friendly, we knew this when we booked so we expected to see kids, not an issue. BUT we were informed the Sauna was a nice relaxing place for adults to relax. Nope. We went one day after a long bike ride.... "lets treat ourselves to the sauna" there was 7 kids in the small "relaxation" pool jumping and diving about picking up pebbles from the edge of the pool throwing them in the water ?!? now there was a huge pool outside as well as 2 kids pools and 2 play areas so why are they allowed to run crazy in this areas as well ? Will i be back to this hotel ? Not if i was given a free stay by the hotel and tour operator. I was fuming we spent so much to stay here when we could of gone and stopped in one of the other hotels we knew would be great. Honestly if you want to got to mallorca give this hotel / area a miss and try Alcudia, Muro, Pollenca and stop in a far better hotel, get a far better experiance and save yourselves some money as well.

The hotel is nearing the end of its economical life. As a budget option it is okay, and the staff really do their best. But be prepared for older rooms, unhappy tourists (the type that was already unhappy before they arrived here), and the bare minimum on meals, the pool, and facilities. Cala d’Or as a whole is a destination for cheap entertainment, happy hours, and basic tourism. It’s fine if you have a car and just don’t spend too much time there (the region has many nice beaches).

BEWARE - DO NOT STAY HERE 1. There are disgusting STAINS on EVERYTHING. Pee stains on the mattress, stains on the sheets, on the towels. Their linens are absolutely revolting. 2. Their partner restaurant Picco, gave me FOOD POISONING for four full days 3. The Wifi does not work in the room, only in the bedroom 4. Getting a single cup of coffee takes over 20 minutes in the morning. There is ONE person doing coffee, and the lineup is regularly 12+ people 5.Getting a drink at the bar, or getting a breakfast ommelete also takes forever as there’s only ONE person for the whole resort. Usually the same with the front reception as well. They are outrageously understaffed. It’s clear they are trying to cut costs. 6. It is unbearably noisy and crowded. Not only are kids screaming 24/7, but there is a different song playing and overlapping from each area of the resort. All the songs and kids screaming blend together to create one big mush of noise 7. Getting laundry done took FIVE DAYS. 8. The massage and spa booking system is a giant hassle and generally never available. 9. Breakfast is completely substandard and not good at all. Cereal choice is embarrassing, eggs are runny, and the bacon is totally soft, not cooked at all. 10) They sent me two feedback forms to fill in while I stayed there, I filled them both in, and didnt get a reply back on either. 11) Many times, they didnt even use sheets that fit, or put any covers on the pillows. Considering all the stains on everything, that stayed uncovered, this place is disgusting. Overall, top 3 worst hotels i’ve stayed at in my life

Nice hotel, great pool area, nice acitivites, nice staff and a good variety of breakfast options. The room was clean when we got here, but the daily house keeping could’ve been better - we had to call twice to get new bed sheets. Also, I don’t understand why they don’t have self-serviced coffee machines at breakfast, because the queue is soooo long just to get someone to make a regular black coffee for you.

The room is old fashioned in what would be a characterful sense, bar the mould, salty water, lack of extractor fan and odd wooden accents to the room. Shows up poorly and out of date compared to other hotels (and don't get me wrong, I like characterful hotels but this is dirty). The yellowing plastic on the bath, and the bath curtains, make me want to be sick. The cleaning staff with a cough not covering their faces, half the guests ending up with a cough through our stay! Gross! Pool staff strange, make up their own rules of different days for what attire you can wear, and even what size pool floats you can have! Stupido! Please also expect tax when coming to this hotel! It's a shame however that the staff are less than lovely! Overall, a strange experience at this hotel, need a major revamp and I would say it's expensive for the level of service. Deserves it's 3 star rating, perhaps less!

Rooms are clean, very spacious but could do with an upgrade as it's very dated, safe was a key not a coded one so had to carry a key around which in not ideal. Food was good and tasty, typically All Inclusive but never went hungry,bar staff aren't very attentive, just carried on doing what they were doing instead of serving the queue and drinks weren't very strong also €1 for cups is a no go for me, pool area nice, but didn't go in as I got bitten really bad and had a bandage on a wound, entertainment was rubbish, the lady who I thought was supposed to be Tina Turner was really loud and kept dragging the song on and sounded awful. Overall a nice place but won't return

The people who have negatively reviewed this hotel clearly expect too much from a 3 star hotel, if you want a 5 star experience go pay for 5 star The hotel delivers amazingly from the staff to the rooms I was not disappointed. The location is ideal, there is a shopping area with bars and restaurants across the road (I recommend the filet mignon from Nevada) The marina is about 10/15 minutes walk away and the centre of Cala Dor is about a 30 minute walk however the train bus stops practically outside the hotel which can take you there. Two beaches are close to the hotel also with one again being practically over the road 3 minute walk maybe if that. The food only becomes repetitive if you eat a little bit of everything everyday if you make a meal with chicken one day, a meal with pork the next it won’t be repetitive. Not too much space around the pool and people tend to race for the beds at 10am however the solarium area is very spacious and has plenty of Sun loungers, the pool area closes off at 6 to allow the staff to get the space ready and clear for dinner at 6:30 however the solarium remains open until 7 so no major issue. The staff are unreal and really go out of there way for you, my partner is gluten free and the food was not labelled however the chefs knew what she could and couldn’t eat and informed us that any meat that may be in a gluten containing sauce could be cooked from fresh on request. They also had gluten free baguettes available (shout out to the tall chef who was on the grill most mornings and lunch times) The bar staff also work tirelessly with Cristian I think his name was working some long hours, in fact a lot of the staff work long hours and they deserve a big thanks. The entertainment team really try to engage with the guests and are enthusiastic and there is something for everyone going on every day, Lucas and his colleagues really do show so much energy every day. You really can’t fault this hotel for the price for the all inclusive, the sangria on draught was delightful, as was the wine, the larger is cruzcampo so a known brand. The only thing I would improve hotel wide would be the Sun loungers as they are not the most comfortable and some are in need of a good clean, same as the umbrellas. One last thing to improve would be the shower curtain in the end rooms that have alcoves in due to the stairs, for example we stayed in 701 and the bath was wider than the alcove meaning the shower curtain was a good distance into the bath which made showering very awkward this could be solved with a L shape shower rail or something similar instead of going from the edge of the alcove. Again this hotel really is value for money and we were not disappointed at all.

Just had a great 2 weeks here, the rooms were spacious and cleaned daily, however, the shower head could do with being replaced as the water didn't distribute evenly. The entertainment team were fantastic and really made our holiday better, we took part in all the activities and really enjoyed them. Big thanks to Alex, Suntai, Medhi, Linda and Elisa, you guys were absolutely brilliant. The food was good and there was plenty of choice at all mealtimes. The pool area was large and there were always plenty of sun loungers available in the day. The pool bar and stage area was large and there were always plenty of tables to sit at. Its a good idea to charge €1 for a glass as this cuts down on waste. The beer and pop is self service, however, if you want a cocktail or spirit you need to order these at the bar. Luis, who worked behind the bar was brilliant and a great help to us. The only thing that could improve this area would be to put some more ashtrays on other tables as they were only on 4 tables near the entrance and people would congregate around them making it difficult for others to pass by. The hotel is located in a great location with shops, bars, restaurants and the beach all within a 5 minute walk. All in all it was a fantastic 2 weeks and we will definitely stay here again.

Staff: 4/5 most were friendly. Reception: 4/5, friendly staff and good explanation. Around noon we could go into our room, which was unexpected and really nice! Entertainment team: 5/5!! Really nice people and nice activities. Location 4/5, close to the beach and a lot of good restaurants and shops nearby. Easy to park our car within a 5 minute walk. Room: 2/5 we stayed in a nice spacious apartment, but it really does need renovation! The bed was too hard for my liking, and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. Also we had one night with rain, and the water came through the window frames. Management: 1/5. This hotel management has no trust in it’s guests. There is deposit on literally everything. I love the idea of reusable cups near the pool is amazing. I’ve been to other hotels who have this system and it’s something I can only cheer for. I do have to say that the deposit is ridiculous, it’s not that people wanna take it as a souvenir. The deposits on a plate if you want a snack even more so. Even deposits are required if you wanna go to the gym. Which really did put me off. This is the biggest reason for a 2/5 rating.

My wife and I decided to take a late Autumn break. This resort was booked in August and was booked through Jet2. The package with Jet2 was for all inclusive. Which is what we were after. Booked from 15th October to 19th October The outbound flight was to depart from Stansted at 0555. With that in mind, we set off from Hounslow, west London at around 0210, to arrive at the mid stay car park for about 0330. The car park booking was made for this time. The journey to this car park took just over 1hr 12 mins, by the quickest route. We paid £62 for the 4 day stay. Had we booked the car park in August, at the time of booking the holiday, the cost would have been £52. But we booked later, hence the £10 difference. Lesson learnt, book early! From the car park to the main terminal was a 7 min bus ride. Buses run every 10 minutes. We had already got our boarding passes, through the Jet2 app, but wanted to drop our bags off. And both bags were well within the allowance of 22kg which Jet2 offered. The flight departed on time and we reached Palma Airport around 0915, local time. We were soon on board the coach for the 1hr 20 min journey to Cala d'or, which is where the Gavimar Ariel Chico Club Resort is located. Upon arrival we checked in. There was some confusion as to our room booking. We had booked a studio apartment, but on checking in, were booked in for a bedroom. On returning to the reception, it transpired that due to a breakdown in communication, we had been booked for a bedroom instead of the studio apartment. But this was soon sorted out. The apartment had all that we required. A toaster, kettle, microwave. There was cutlery and plates as well as cup and saucers for our usage. I wanted an apartment with a balcony and so got my wish. There was a problem with the shower head. The spraying of the water from the shower head, was only from the middle and not with a great deal of force. I would describe it only as adequate. In the restaurant, the food was very good. Hot and aplenty. Good variety of it too. And that included desserts. Fresh fruit was on offer. The staff worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. Cleaning down the tables, and taking away the dishes, quickly, so that a good service was maintained. Food and drink was always kept topped up. Never running out. The one thing I liked about this resort, that you had to deposit €1 for a plastic cup for your drink and then you would get that back, after you are done. That way plastic cups are not unnecessarily being thrown away. A good idea. The resort is a lovely place to just relax and unwind. I did just that!! Away from the hustle and bustle of a daily routine. There are plenty of gift shops and there are supermarkets dotted around to pick up bits and pieces. We were able to pick up bread, crisps biscuits and other such items with ease. There are activities to do, but we opted out of these and just wanted a relaxing 4 days. What I really enjoyed about the 4 days was the weather. Lovely and warm. At one point temperature reached 28°c! And very sunny. Evening temperatures held at around 17°c. Nice and pleasant. I would most definitely recommend this place and would not hesitate to return here. I really love these short breaks, as I've stated before, for me it's about relaxing and unwinding. Already looking forward to the next one!

I stayed at The Barcelo Aguamarina in the 2nd week October of 2023 towards the end of holiday season. We'll all I can say was I had an amazing time. I walked into the Hotel and spoke to the receptionist in Spanish and she was taken aback. She replied back to me English and said thank you for speaking to her in her native language. From that moment onwards she spoke to me Spanish helping me out if I made any mistakes. After checking in I went to my room which was amazing. They room overlooked the sea which was breath taking 5* Quick change and straight down to the beach which is accessed through hotel. All the staff are amazing they are so friendly and always ready stop and chat to you. Also another chance to practice my Spanish. Food was on point and a vast selection at breakfast through to dinner. Also snacks avaliable at most times of the day. To cut a long story short this hotel is amazing. I cant think of anything to fault this place. I will be returning. Thank you for an amazing time and making me feel so welcome

Hotel has direct access to beach/Cala. Pedal boats and paddle boards available to rent at a reasonable price. Food and local drinks were the usual hotel standard. Night entertainment was enjoyable. Although they are amateurs we were lucky to catch their interpretation of the greatest showman. They all got a standing ovation. We were a party of 6 with an age range of 2 to 71.

I was visiting a mate who was staying and the place is really nice. Location couldn't be better with a beachfront ground floor and lift up to reception on street level. I paid for dinner, which my pal got as part of his AI. It was 25 e and was faultless. Very busy with a lot of Spanish tourists and splattering of other nations, food was predominantly Spanish, except for some obligatory pizza. I tried small bites of most of the offerings, and every single one was excellent. I especially liked the beef cheek stew. If I ever stay here again I would make a b-line for this place above others.

We have been here twice before & arrived today for a 10 day all inclusive. Very disappointed that they have taken snack bar away from pool plus snack bar at back of hotel replaced with snack room. Upon entering this the andwiches were dry no chips etc which you used to get with burgers etc. Room is lovely & amenities wonderful. Area is brilliant but do think this has affected how I feel. Dont think would do all inclusive again

Location is perfect! Rooms are clean - but there is no trash bin in the room. There is a small one in the bathroom, that’s it. Food is good, but even though we were all inclusive they started charging us for drinks which is not specified anywhere. Elevators are not fully working - so if your room is on 7th floor good luck! One morning i woke up at 7am to go to pool side, and there were towels on the sunbeds already!

Fab weeks holiday at Adults only hotel. Lovely staff and hotel is immaculately clean. Great buffet with much to offer and cater for most people's taste. I had an accessible room. Ground floor and large terrace. .very pleased with the facilities. I hired a mobility scooter and this made life much easier.

We had the best stay at Hotel Monsuau , the hotel was stunning , clean and modern. The staff were helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast had everything you could ask for and was delicious. Pool area was great & having the lap pool at the gym was a great addition to do some proper swimming. The hotel had a great sky bar for sunset & the cocktails there + at the pool I could not fault. We did not try the buffet dinner but I’m sure given everything else it was great. We found the bus services super handy with the bus stop literally minutes away. Beaches Cala Serena and Ferrara were not a far walk and both worth visiting. The walk in to town was easy and well lit. Definitely recommend this hotel for a couple or friends looking for a relaxing place to stay. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the welcome wine on arrival was a nice tough, room was cleaned early every day and always spotless.

Incredible hotel. The room was very clean, the common areas were quite inviting, the gym was great and very well equipped (that was a nice surprise). But the best thing about it might have been the food. I wouldn’t say you are spoiled for choice, but it doesn’t matter because the quality is amazing. Not only that, I have a food intolerance and the staff was very accommodating. I’ve never had that before, that the waiters go out of their way to help anyway they can. Highly recommend!

This modern hotel is on the edge of Cala d'Or and surrounding areas. We visited it during the middle of October, the whole area was beginning to wind down as it closes at the end of October. The weather was also cooler (which suited us) but there was some rain and wind. The hotel was not very busy ( it is quite a large complex) so there was no problem getting a sunbed! It had other facilities..gym, pilates etc which we didn't use. Our room had a "sunset" view which was lovely as we overlooked the countryside and could hear the chickens! I noticed in another part of the hotel the "swim up rooms" overlooked the road which I didn't like. Service in the bar and food by the pool was good, but the roof top cocktail bar was closed. This would have been lovely as we would have stayed in the hotel at night for drinks instead of going into Cala d'Or. Most people seemed to go out of the hotel at night. Food was buffet style and was OK/good, we have had better in other hotels. The staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. A good team. I would recommend this hotel if you like peace, quiet and to chill. Cala d'Or has lots of small coves, small sandy beaches and a marina for boat trips etc. We prefer resorts with a mix of tourism, history and local spanish areas, so probably won't be visiting it again but it is a very pretty area and I enjoyed my holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Monsuau this weekend. The hotel was modern and clean with lots of well designed spaces to relax. The welcome drinks at check in were a nice touch. Lovely rooftop sky bar with beautiful views and epic sunsets. The pool was great, open 10am - 6pm with a lifeguard. Plenty of sun loungers and a nice chilled vibe. The quality and selection of food in the restaurant was wonderful. The staff made our holiday, so friendly, attentive and helpful, a credit to the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area at the top of Cala D’Or, walkable into the centre & a bus service runs from the top of the road. Beaches Cala Ferrara and Cala Serena are within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back again soon.

I have been to Majorca several times and I have to say that the AluaSoul is absolutely top class. It has incredible pool areas, a lovely beach accessible from the main hotel and the food and drinks services are incredible. I cannot think of one thing I would change about the hotel as it has something for everyone. I found the hotel offered the ability to chill out and relax but also if you wanted to there were plenty of opportunities to carry out activities including volleyball, archery etc. In the evening there were quizzes and live music which was all great fun. A special shout out to Ozz who was a brilliant facilitator for the whole Holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he had a phenomenal sense of humour and a great way about him. The cleaning staff cleaned the rooms daily to a very high standard and replaced items like towels/water /coffee. I am very impressed. Have made friends from all over the world and my wife and I will definitely be planning a return trip

We had a lovely stay at the Alua Soul resort, the hotel and pool was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool is a great place to relax and have a drink and the water aerobics was a nice little bit of entertainment. Thank you for a great stay and we would defiantly stay again if in the area.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel and wanted to share my thoughts and experiences. Overall, my stay had its ups and downs, and I hope this review will help future travelers make an informed decision. Let's start with the positives. One of the standout highlights of my stay was Ozz, the entertainment guy. He was absolutely fantastic and a real asset to the hotel. Oz was not only friendly but also had a great sense of humor, making my time at the hotel enjoyable and entertaining. His presence added a vibrant and lively atmosphere to the premises. The beach, which is accessible from the hotel, was indeed lovely. The natural beauty and tranquility of the shoreline were refreshing. However, it's important to note that the beach is a public one, so be prepared for a lot of kids, even during off-peak periods. This can be a bit disappointing if you were expecting an exclusively adult-only environment, as advertised. Moving on to the dining experience, I must admit that the food was average at best. While breakfast was relatively better in terms of quality, the dinner options were repetitive and lacked variety. Each night, the dinner offerings felt monotonous, which was a letdown considering the expectations one might have for a hotel of this caliber. On the positive side, the hotel offers a favorite club membership for guests, which I highly recommend. As a favorite club member, you gain access to a private area of the hotel with ample seating. It provides a quiet retreat from the bustling atmosphere and is perfect for those seeking a more serene environment. Additionally, the availability of snacks and drinks exclusively for favorite club members is a definite plus. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues with the cleaning staff during my stay. They were occasionally rude, and on a few occasions, they entered my room without prior notice. This lack of professionalism and respect for privacy was quite disappointing and had a negative impact on my overall experience. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel had its pros and cons. Oz, the entertainment guy, was exceptional and brought a lot of joy to my time there. The beach, while beautiful, was not as secluded as advertised, with a significant presence of children. The food, particularly dinner, was average and repetitive. However, the favorite club membership provided access to a quiet area and exclusive snacks and drinks, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the rude behavior and unannounced room entries by the cleaning staff were significant drawbacks. I hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision about their stay.

Hotel is really nice do not read much into the negative reviews. Reception staff really welcoming, reception area really clean and spoke through everything. We had a pool view room which we strongly recommend paying extra for, room was always cleaned daily immaculately and sheets changed upon request. Cleaners always left a bottle of water which was a nice touch. Food was really nice, not the same every day as some reviews suggest, Italian restaurant on site was buffet style but fresh cooked pasta strongly recommend, did not try any others due to our length of stay and them being closed. Pool area was good, easy to get a bed if you was going down before 11am, lifeguard would often leave a warning on the beds if you was away from your bed approx between 10-11am (if you were in the pool or eating breakfast) so be aware. Drinks selection was good, could be better if more drinks included in the all inclusive package, did notice that people paying got drinks in nicer glasses but not the end of the world. Ozz made the days great he offered a variety of good activities which people got involved with, must say he made staying in the hotel throughout the day worth while so special mention to him. All in all was a really nice stay and will be back in the future.

Just finishing up a week's stay here and it has been amazing! We opted to stay at the 'My Favourite Club' level - if you want absolute peace and relaxation then this is well worth the splurge! From the breakfast to the lounge, snack bar, bar, private pool, those extra £££ for the upgrade have been well spent! Hotel itself is fantastic, a brilliant location and very serene and relaxing. The beach is beautiful and well kept - its not exclusive to hotel guests but we never found it over crowded (travelled in September). Food - as a vegetarian, I have near felt so spoilt for choice, I've never been met with such variety at a buffet, at both lunch and tea, I never had the same thing twice in 7 days and everything was flavourful! A huge surprise compared to other resorts I have stayed at! Rooms are great, very well situated ( if you can, upgrade to a sea view, you won't regret it!) Housekeeping do a fantastic job and our room was spotless all week long. A huge shout out to Ozz and Maria in entertainment, the pair work tirelessly to put together a wonderful and varied program, you can get as involved as you want or simply sit back and enjoy, there was no pressure from anyone to take part! At the favourite club 'fancy bar' Juan took amazing care of us all week and put together some cracking cocktails but also a delicious cappuccino! I paid a few visits to the spa and though small, if you just want to relax in the sauna, it's ideal! My only complaint is there are no towels or water at the spa so make sure to take your own! All in all, we had an amazing week and after many, many, all inclusive holidays, this is the first place we are considering coming back to in the near future! Top tip - opt for a private transfer from the airport! It took us close to 2 hours to get here!

We had a great holiday here. Facilities were all good, service and staff excellent and lots of good food and drink served throughout the day, ideal when you have children. Special mention for the SensiCrew entertainment team, who did a fantastic job looking after everyone, children and adults, with plenty of fun games, singing, dancing and laughter. Lorena, Paige, Nacho & the team were my highlight of the trip, as they helped our son and all the other kids have a great time!

From check in to check out this place was amazing the staff were all so friendly and helpful and the only issue I had was when my safe didn’t open and the technicians were at my room before I was they were so prompt. The pools were all so nice and everywhere was spotless. There was always a good choice of food and the entertainment was also really good not just at night but throughout the day.

Whether its George and Aline on reception, to the staff at the pool bar and snack counter, to the restaurant and bar staff. Only for the Jewels in the crown to be the six amination team, Alisha and her children's club, Nanu and his activities , Lorena and her dance shows, Paige with her Singing shows that you would pay to see and your getting for free, with the superstars Nacho and his activities and mini disco and the king of the quiz Diego. Hotel Cala d Or adults only is a gem of a hotel. The staff are excellent and beyond helpful. Breakfast is a buffet style event with plenty to choose from. Eggs are cooked to order as you wait. The beds are fantastically comfortable too. It's literally a four minute walk to town, and the best beach is at the base of the hotel. In my honest opinion it's one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Clean friendly and highly recommended.

Just returned from 2 weeks here. Adults only made such a wonderful difference. Always a sunbed and plenty of room in the pool. Service excellent. Very clean and tidy hotel. Ideal for beach, bars and restaurants. Beautiful views and very relaxing.

Unfortunately not impressed. Reception and housekeeping are nice and location is good but There is option to add dinner- nowhere to be explained that they have only one la carte restaurant and there will be only 2 mains to chose from every night So from our stay of 7 nights when we paid ( quite a lot) for hotel restaurant we had to went out 4 times- ridiculous! The older waiter VERY muddy- never seen him smile or trying to be nice. The beech bar-omg don’t even try- most of them look like they work there as prison service- you just don’t want to step your foot there and if you do you can wait 20-30 min before they come to serve you- very overpriced! Also breakfast was same everyday so few times we just had enough and went out. Very small pool and all sun lounges are reserved from 6-7am. Most of people there are in they late 60,70is too, do not expect any entertainment in the hotel or beach bar. To much money spent on the hotel-should be rated much lower so people know what to expect. Will be back at the location but different hotel.

Lovely adult (16+) only hotel. Great location right on Cala Petita beach. Walk straight from hotel onto beautiful well kept beach where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas. Beach does get very busy, but can always find a spot. Rooms fairly basic, but smart. We had large balcony with a sea and pool view, worth paying extra for. AC in room quiet and worked well. Had to pay extra for safe (€2 a day). Good parking in street or in hotel car park opposite. Breakfast was very good, but a little repetitive, but what you expect. Pool area and terraces with many sunbeds well kept. Pool could have done with a little more cleaning. Sand in it and slightly green around edges. Biggest complaint would be people putting there towels on sunbeds from 6am and by 8am all sunbeds next to Pool had towels on them and only a couple.of people there. Hotel should clamp down on this and collect unattended towels. Some beds where empty for several hours. The restraunt on Cala Patita is lovely, but can get full. Get a reservation to guarantee a table. We liked eating and drinking here and at the many restaurants and bars at the port 10 to 15 min walk. Didn't think much of bars and restaurants in main resort. Worth the walk to Port. We stayed in room 022. Clean Pool better, and sort out sun beds and would get a 5 out of 5
