The hotel is extremely nice. The rooms were bright, clean and updated. I went to the lobby to enquire about taking a train to Lisbon. Luis overheard my conversation with Mariana, he came over to help book the entire trip and he also printed out the tickets for me. I would definitely recommend this place.👍❤️

This place was fantastic. I mean, how can an ocean front room be any better?? The breakfast was also outstanding. The hotel, staff, location and amenities were unmatched. I will say, for those looking into coming to this area, it’s very touristy, and I found that the local restaurants catered to german/UK folk. The crowd is definitely older, but maybe because we came in the off season. Also, because it’s the off season, it’s kind of a ghost town. The beach is always beautiful and majestic. Still recommend!!!

Rooms are generally well kept, they have recently been renovated and are in good condition. Staff have been helpful and are friendly. My one knack is that they don't replenish water each day in the rooms, which considering the price paid per night is a small ask. Seems petty to not replenish is for the small price it costs.
Breakfast is okay, options are acceptable, I stuck to the continental breakfast but there are other options.
The dinner time service was bland to say the least. Very plain tasting food, maybe suitable for the predominantly elderly visitors, but if you like your food to have a little more spice or kick, then the local options are worth exploring. I would recommend against the half board and full board options, try local food instead.

My partner and I stayed here for four nights just before Christmas. This hotel is excellent. The reception area and rooms are very modern and the facilities are great. Balconies face the beach and you can watch the sunrise reflection on the sea every morning. We had half board. The selection and variety during breakfast and dinner were second to none and all the staff would always welcome you with a big smile and nothing was too much trouble for them. special mention to Eduardo who always went the extra mile to make you feel very welcome. Location was very convenient for the old town.
if there is one criticism would be that the mattresses were quite hard for our liking.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were checked in and shown round by the lady on reception who was really friendly and explained all of the hotel information to us.
We liked the decor in the bar and restaurant area (yes, it is a bit dated or traditional, but it is nice)
The breakfast in the morning is good, for some, but probably not for fussy eaters (my girlfriend included). I liked it, though!
The bar is comfortable with entertainment every night, and the drink prices are a lot cheaper than what we expected as well.
The view of the beach is amazing, with every room having a great view. As all of the rooms are beach facing and the reception, bar and restaurant are on the 5th floor, you have to go downstairs to the rooms.
There is also a swimming pool, a cafeteria, and a restaurant downstairs on the beach level, which is handy. All of the communal areas are kept nice and clean, and all of the staff that we have spoken to seem friendly and polite. Especially Olinda, who has been cleaning our room.
Just a couple of bad things about our stay is that our room was connected to next door by an adjoining door, which wasn't an issue until the second to last night when we could hear the people next door in the shower and using the toilet late at night. It hadn't been a problem until that point as there wasn't anyone in the room. Also, the pool wasn't very big and changing facilities were a bit run down.
