We spent our honeymoon at this lovely hotel. The staff is very helpful. The food is tasty and varied from day to day. Rooms could use some freshening up. All the public areas are fine and well kept. There was live entertainment every evening. A thing to note that there is no WiFi in hotel rooms, only in public areas. Overall would visit this hotel again for sure.

I just want to say a huge thank you to every single person working at the Meli Palace.
We were treated like royalty from start to finish. The service went above and beyond, with exciting upgrades and even a birthday cake.
Great location, private beach, lovely pool, entertainment, drinks and food.
The best part though, was how kind and funny everyone is - warm and personable and made us feel like part of the family.
My only piece of constructive feedback is the double beds were uncomfortable, but I’m sure if we’d said anything then they would have come up with a solution (we used the other single mattresses which were much softer so all fine in the end!)
Thank you all, you are amazing!
We can’t wait to come back and bring friends next time!

This place is fantastic for a real vacation. Quiet, private beach, pool, entertainment throughout the day. The food was amazing!! Staff is superb. Everyone with a smile on their face and really liking their jobs. The hotel cries for renovation. Furniture in rooms is really old and beds, even though they are large, are not very comfortable. Poor quality of drinks used for cocktails, wine was good tho.

Really fantastic resort for families with kids of all ages. You can stroll between private beach, bar and swimming pool at your leisure. Staff during the day are super attentive, however perhaps were a little understaffed and under attentive on an evening with a lack of seating.
Food at all times of the day was very very good for a buffet, with a fantastic variety.
The location makes it such a relaxing and peaceful holiday if this is what you are looking for. However, if you like to sight see when you go on holiday, then you will need a car or to use taxi's.
Rooms were perfectly fine for a family holiday, except for the mattresses - they were extremely thin, noisy, and not very comfy at all for adults.

Hotel is old but in good condition and very clean. Food is excellent and service in the restaurant and at the pool bar are fantastic. You could not have asked for more.
The location is remote, the nearby village “Sissi” is beautiful and a great day out. €7 in a taxi each way, Malia is a €15 ride away and is a fun night out.
However, On three occasions we found the reception staff to be rude and unprofessional. A huge difference to the rest of the staff who were friendly and polite.
Basic, friendly hotel. Four stars out of five if the reception staff weren’t rude. With that in mind I can only give three stars.
