Right after staying here for a long weekend I'd thought I'd do an honest review. We were on a girls hoilday, loads of different people in hotel, mostly English and everyone was so chatty.
Firstly hotel itself is beautiful! Great location, lovely rooms ( they are basic but clean and comfy beds and great showers) no kettle or anything but there's a fridge. Grounds are so pretty and very quite, pool area really nice, lovely views.
Staff are so friendly, help as much as they can but there's so many areas they need to sort out and the hotel would be incredible! Firstly the communication needs to be sorted, poor porter taking everyone to there rooms but they weren't ready so having to go back to reception. Bar staff, once again so lovely but language barrier was hard, no drinks menu, NO COCKTAILS! these were extra apparently, only drinks on Al were beer, wine, vodka, gin, brandy, some questionable juices and soft drinks. Very simple selection which was a shame. Afternoon snack bar was OK.... cooked fresh burgers and pizza and 2/3 flavours of scoop ice cream at 3_5pm. However the meals... omg! I'm not fussy, I'll try anything but wow! it's like they cooked whatever they had and put it out, brocoli for breakfast, all salad, hardly any fruits, bread was luckily OK and fresh omlettes but hygiene wasn't great. Egg questionable.... we ended up eating breakfast at another hotel up the road. Lunch and dinner very similar too, just weird food! No labels, no idea what anything was, a lot looked like it was put out from day before... or before that. It was an on going joke with other guests, we all bonded over the awful food. This just let the whole experience down, such a simple fix for the hotel. We did eat at the secret garden and buzzbar ( booked a sunset table which was amazing) food was so good at both.
With the hotel they offer a shuttle to a beach club at Sugar beach on the lagoon... hardly anyone was told about this and it was amazing! It wasn't Al but proper cocktails, All waiter service, free beds and insane scenery. We came a few days and had lunch. This is a must, it would be good for kids as the water on the lagoon was warm and shallow.
Overall I'd come back but they need to sort out the food and drink selection! A lot of people said they wouldn't return because of this and rather go to surrounding hotels which is a shame.

Just got back from staying here for a week with my boyfriend, we were both sad to leave. The hotel is beautiful, our room was lovely and had air conditioning. The food mostly was fantastic, there was a few dishes that weren’t to our liking but there was lots to choose from. There was plenty of sun-beds which was perfect. The animation/entertainment team were lots of fun, we participated in all the activities, my boyfriend loved the water polo especially. The location of the hotel is perfect, would definitely come here again!

I had gastroenteritis when I left and my friend ended up in the hospital with 'something'...that the doctors are still trying to figure out after 4 days of being home.
Food was atrocious....cold never hot. Broccoli, cauliflower and boiled/baked potatoes for breakfast. And ill never each another chip or grain of rice again! Bread however great...I lived on bread and honey.
Don't eat from BBQ as it's filthy! Mosques wailing a few times a day including 545AM....a stone's throw from the hotel. Mustafa who was on reception is a diamond....couldn't do enough for us.....as well as a great bloke doing the suitcases. Most of the staff are friendly enough.
Really no way as good as the brochure makes out.....read the reviews beforehand.
Our room even though was 'cleaned', the floors were filthy when we first arrived and wasn't cleaned all the week we were there. The towels...well my floor cloths are in better condition.
The worst thing to see apart from the BBQ, was the girl in the snack bar, continuously wiping sweat off her face, then continuing to cook and serve beefburgers, wearing the same plastic gloves.
The hotel location is great.....rooms are OK but not very clean, staff OK, but the food, as I said, is ATROCIOUS!!

Lovely smaller hotel set back from the beach with lovely views of the mountains it nestle between. Very nice pool but limited grounds as it is on the edge of the village which is quite steep leading to the mountain. Rooms are a little tired and small but everything works well, shower, AC, fridge etc.

Great 10 day break. Was a bit apprehensive after bad food reviews but we found plenty of choice and fab location. Only downside for us was could have had 2 people making the breakfast pancakes/omlettes to save a queue forming. Don't expect cocktails etc and you won't be disappointed.
