A little bit of a dysfunctional hotel, bit like a Spanish Fawlty towers... We got booked into an economy room (171b) which was basically a garage behind a garage- multiple people called it a prison cell, however the cleanliness was adequate. Be very careful of the slabs as a lot of areas were uneven and I did trip more than once.
We played mini golf, the course is in a bit of a state with astro turf ripped up and dips in the paths.
Food was weird which is expected for a fussy person like myself- although I wasn't the only one afraid of eating the mystery meat burgers and sausages 🙈 took ages to check in for multiple groups of people. Rep was lovely, a Scottish lady called Shirley, she sent us on a beautiful excursion on a boat to snorkel. All in all made some amazing memories, the hotel sort of grows on you when you see the sunset view from the bottom bar. Entertainment was good and the entertainment staff were brilliant, you can tell they thoroughly enjoy their jobs and have a lot of fun keeping people entertained.
I do believe the hotel has so much potential, it's positioned in a beautiful area, staff need proper training and I think a lot of reconstruction is needed.

The location of the bungalows is in a very nice place on top of the rocks. The size of the rooms is normal for a bungalow. In one bungalow, there are 2 single beds, 1 sofa, and a small room with 1 single bed. Thus, 4 people can sleep in one bungalow. Sun Club El Dorado offers all-inclusive, as there are 3 bars, 2 swimming pools, and a restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cleanliness in the restaurant is not at a high level, but there is a great abundance of food. There's no point paying for Wi-Fi because it doesn't work. If they want to improve their Wi-Fi network, they should put Wi-Fi extenders in every bungalow. If you are going to travel by bus to nearby towns or to Palma, it is best to pay by card. It doesn't matter what the bank card is, but it must be in Euros. I personally use Wise (travel/border card), which has 48 types of currencies.

I don't understand so many negative reviews for this place, from the minute we arrived until the minute we left it was a truly fantastic experience. We arrived later after dinner had finished bit we were offered sandwiches which was a nice touch. The room was fine, clean with two beds, sofa, wardrobe and bathroom, nice veranda with table and chairs, what more do you need? One suggestion though, take an extension lead as we only had one socket in the room and one in the bathroom. Facilities were great, three pools, three bars, including a snack bar serving hams, cheeses and pizza throughout the day. The view from the pools is beautiful and you must watch the sunset from the main pool! All the staff from the receptionists, the bar staff to the entertainment team were so friendly, chatty and welcoming. You pay a euro deposit for your drinks cup and use it all holiday, it gets washed on every use and its a great idea, the drinks are unlimited and they don't hold back on the measures so be careful! Although the location is a little out of the way there is a bus stop at the top of the road and you can easily move around the island or you can rent a car or scooter from the resort. The food in the restaurant is very good, lots of selection and soft drinks, beer and wine on tap to help yourself to.
The only negative for this resort is that it's huge and sprawling, lots of steep paths and steps so not really suitable for people with mobility issues, otherwise its worth every penny.
